Joey Law and Rachel Chan Spotted on Concert Date

Rumors surrounding the relationship between “TVB goddess collector” Joey Law (羅天宇 ) and “Scoop” goddess Rachel Chan (陳懿德) have persisted for a year, and there has recently been a new development!.

Joey Keen to “Settle Down”?

Rumors about the two first emerged in early 2024. In February that year, Joey quietly attended Rachel’s birthday celebration. Then, in April, when she won an award at the TVB Anniversary Awards 2024, she publicly thanked Joey, referring to him as a “good friend.” The two were even seen shedding tears of joy together, further fuelling speculation about their relationship.

The pair reportedly became acquainted through their shared interest in basketball. They were also spotted separately sharing photos of themselves visiting penguins, with the backgrounds looking remarkably similar. Joey Law, who has previously been linked romantically with several actresses and was nicknamed the “goddess collector,” appears to have found a more stable direction in recent years.

He was once teased by Pal Sinn (單立文) on the TVB program Hong Kong Happy Ever After Special <香港婚後事>, with Pal joking that Joey was “picking them one by one at TVB,” which became a talking point.

In his defense, Joey revealed that he approaches relationships with marriage in mind, but would eventually realize that his partner was not someone suitable for marriage in his past relationships. Now 38, Joey appears to have changed his outlook, candidly admitting, “I’m really getting older now. If I want to have children, then… I’d like to do it as soon as possible.”

Joey is Praise by Rachel’s Mom

In addition to their recent concert date, Joey and Rachel have also been spotted spending time together with friends from the entertainment industry on several occasions. Rachel was previously photographed having dinner with Joey and her mother. During the meal, Joey and Rachel’s mother were seen chatting and laughing together, Rachel later revealing that her mother had praised Joey for being filial.

The pair have also travelled to Egypt with friends including JW Wong (王灝兒) and Mayao Ma (馬天佑), and could be seen dancing and interacting in front of the pyramids in videos shared on social media.

Although both continue to publicly refer to each other as “good friends,” the various signs suggest that their relationship has been developing steadily.
