Aaron Yan Attends Fashion Week in New York
Actor and singer Aaron Yan (炎亞綸) is having a busy start to his year. Last month, he attended Fashion Week in Paris, and this month French brand Zadig & Voltaire invited him to their show in New York. Aaron took up the offer and went to his second Fashion Week this year. Through social media, Aaron shared his trip has been jam packed with activities every day. It seems he spent Valentine’s Day in New York as well.
Years ago, fans helped Aaron land an ad on Nasdaq’s building in Times Square by voting for him, defeating competitors Kris Wu (吴亦凡) and Zhu Yilong (朱一龙). Aaron took the chance to take a picture in Times Square with his own ad in the background. He wasn’t the only one with that idea as he met fans from Shanghai, Beijing, and locals who were doing the same. Not expecting to meet their idol in person, it’s definitely a trip worth remembering for them.
Aside from attending the fashion show, he also treated the staff to a big lobster meal for their hard work. The whole table was full of lobsters and oysters. Of course, Aaron couldn’t miss out on the chance to watch a Broadway show while in New York. He saw Sleep No More for the first time, and expressed, “you must follow the point of views of a lot of different people to get the story. It’s just like everything in the world, you can’t see everything from just one person’s perspective.”
