Christine Fan Gives Birth to Twins

Taiwanese celebrity couple Blackie Chen (陳建州) and Christine Fan (范瑋琪) welcomed the arrival of their twin boys. Blackie shared the good news via his Weibo and Instagram on January 15. He posted a photo of the newborns and wrote, “Thank you everyone for your blessings… mother and son are well! The two brothers quietly arrived to this beautiful world today! Thank God for blessing us with these two treasures!”

Christine shared the news on her Weibo soon after, writing, “Big and Small Panda checked in earlier than expected! Thank you God, and thank you everyone for your concerns.”

The twins, nicknamed “Big and Small Panda”, were born a  month before their due date. According to various media reports, Christine was immediately sent to the hospital after her water broke around noontime. The babies weighed almost 4.4 pounds each. As they were born prematurely, the twins are currently being monitored in incubators.

Many of the couple’s celebrity friends immediately congratulated them on Weibo, including Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛), Dee Hsu (徐熙娣), Pace Wu (吳佩慈), and Amber Kuo (郭采潔).
