Initial Sales of ZeroBaseOne’s Second Mini Album Surpass Debut Album

South Korean boyband Zerobaseone (ZB1) was formed after Mnet’s reality competition Boys Planet. Making their debut in July, Zerobaseone recently released their second mini album MELTING POINT on November 6. On its first day, it sold 1.458 million copies which broke the record of their debut album’s first-day sales of 1.24 million copies. This is the first time a South Korean band has sold over a million copies of their album consecutively after debut.

The album also made topped the charts in the United States, Canada, Japan, India, France, and Brazil. The lead single “CRUSH” along with other album songs “MELTING POINT”; “Take My Hand”; “Kidz Zone” and “Good Night” all ranked in the top 20 on Melon’s music chart.

The nine-member boyband consists of Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Han Bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu Vin, Park Gun Wook and Han Yu Jin. Zerobaseone is currently managed by WakeOne for the next two years.
