Kelly Fu: “I Am Really, Really Good Friends With Ron Ng!”
Since breaking up with former flame Viann Zhang (張馨予) last year, Ron Ng (吳卓羲) has had a string of dating rumors with his female colleagues. Recent reports suggest that Ron may have fallen for yet another fellow actress, Kelly Fu (傅嘉莉) while filming Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II>. Ron was rumored to have sweetened Kelly’s heart by bringing her dessert every night.
Earlier, Ron was photographed with Toby Leung (梁靖琪) in the pool, generating criticism for his inappropriate behavior with a married woman. Soon after, intimate photos of Ron and his The Lady in the Cubicle <格子間女人> co-star Tiffany Tang (唐嫣) surfaced. Ron was faulted as the third party that broke up Tiffany and ex-boyfriend Roy Chiu (邱澤)’s relationship. Ron denied the rumor but soon found himself in yet another scandal when tabloids claimed that he was dating voluptuous model/actress Monica Mok (莫小棋).
This week, sources reported that Ron has been dating his Triumph in the Skies 2 costar, Kelly Fu. Late last year, Ron expressed surprise about Kelly’s crush on him and praised her for her acting skills. Recently a source revealed that Ron and Kelly have been secretly dating for two months, and Ron has been extra attentive to the 28-year-old. “Ron knew that Kelly likes tong sui [Chinese dessert] so he buys it every night and always saves her a bowl. He gets a different flavor every night! Ron is really secretive however, he wouldn’t even add Kelly on his Weibo. When reporters come to visit, he would keep his distance from Kelly and choose to hang out with Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) and Toby Leung instead!” The source added that Ron would visit Kelly at her new Tai Hang residence whenever he returns to Hong Kong.
On May 6, reporters reached out to Kelly to ask about her relationship status. Kelly appeared to be in good spirits as she responded to the questions. “Go ask him! Go ask him! We are really, really good friends. He sent me a video on my birthday to invite me to a birthday meal!” When asked about Ron buying her dessert every night, Kelly explained that he had bought enough for the entire crew. Kelly admitted to moving to her own home in February, but refused to discuss further when reporters asked if Ron ever sleeps over.
Kelly appeared at a promotional event for hair care company Kérastase today and speaking again about Ron, Kelly smiled and praised Ron as a top bachelor, calling him sweet, funny, and attentive. When Kelly mentioned that she must keep fit for her ad campaign, reporters quipped that she should ask Ron to stop feeding her so much dessert. Kelly quickly replied, “But I really love to eat tong sui!”
Reporters then pressed Kelly to confirm the dating rumors. Kelly emphasized that she and Ron are very good friends and that dating depends on chemistry. “Wait until he publicly admits to courting me [before I would make any comment]. Guys must have class and girls must be reserved!” She confessed that she cannot predict the future however, and that she wants a sweet romance like Raymond Lam (林峰) and Karena Ng (吳千語). “All the girls want men to be sweet to them! I hope I will have [a romance] like theirs.”

It seems like every time Ron Ng talks too, looks at, sits next to, films, parties or hangs out with a woman, he is either dating her or has fallen for her. Leave him alone already.

Kelly’s response certainly hints that they are involved. If not, then her response is disguised to mislead and get publicity for herself.
I agree. From Kelly response, she is making strong hints that she is dating (and staking claim on) Ron. Otherwise it reeks self publicity.

Let’s see what Ron will say. Last December during filming of “Triumph in the Skies 2”, Kelly said she had a crush on Ron, but he didn’t reply as to how he felt about her.
Can Ron turn down Kelly if she indeed had a crush on him?
One thing I note is that Ron rumors with Kelly might not be a bad news for his image, provided that Kelly has a similar image like Karena. Sweet, nice, girl-next-door image. It’ll help Ron for his comeback in HK as the ‘reformed’ good man.
I agree with Jayne and time will tell all. Who is Kelly Fu?? She may be using Ron to promote herself or maybe they are dating are close friends who will be dating in the future?? Who knows??
more like self publicity from kelly. ron doesn’t say anything and she alone acting all sweet and giddy and talked too much. should’vr stopped at just friends instead of trying to takr advantage of ron’s friendship to promote herself.

this kelly must be using ron’s sincere friendship to gain publicity! who is she anyway? suddenly pairing with ron and fights for ron with myolie in triumph 2 out of nowhere

Anyway, I would be happy for Ron if its true. Kelly *looks* like a really nice girl.
Another promotion? I’m not buying that they’re together. They don’t seem like each other’s type. After his scandal, Ron Ng probably has more fun keeping them all underground. 🙂
