Lisa Tse’s Impression of Hong Kong Men

Ever since Lisa Tse (謝嘉怡) won Miss Hong Kong 2020, the Scotland-raised starlet has been in the spotlight for her enthusiastic and outgoing personality. Though she hasn’t been in the entertainment industry for long, she has already built a positive reputation with her charming honesty. Still single, she recently expressed that she has a great impression of Hong Kong men and prefer them over the ones in Europe.

Not long ago, Lisa attended TVB Pearl’s Season of Love <愛的季節> promotional event, where she wore a beautiful yellow dress like Belle’s in Beauty and the Beast and danced with William Chak (翟威廉) on stage. As Valentine’s Day is days away, she shared that she does not currently have anything planned when asked about her first Valentine’s Day in Hong Kong. Lisa, who has been embracing singlehood, said, “I have a really good impression of Hong Kong men. Most of them are very pure, unlike British boys who only like to play. However, I am not in a rush to find a boyfriend because I want to focus on developing my career in Hong Kong.”

Though Lisa’s new life in Hong Kong has led to many new career opportunities, Miss Hong Kong 2020 second runner-up, Rosita Kwok (郭柏妍), is the first to partake in a drama. Still, Lisa is very happy for Rosita and her upcoming drama with Moses Chan (陳豪). When asked if she was jealous, she said, “No, I want to focus on completing my Miss Hong Kong duties first. Whenever I hear about a pageant sister getting filming opportunities, I am very happy for them.” She added that she hopes to improve her Cantonese before participating in a drama.

Aside from working on her Chinese, Lisa has also been taking up new activities and went wakesurfing for the first time with her cousin Casa Yuen (源菲然), Miss Hong Kong 2020 top 10 finalist Ceci Mak (麥詩晴), and two male counterparts named Jeremy Wong (黃俊豪) and Lincoln Hui (許俊豪). Since many were curious about the two men’s backgrounds, Lisa disclosed that they are her classmates from TVB’s training class. Though it was her first time wakesurfing, she has already mastered it, as seen by her big grin in the video that she posted on Instagram.

Wearing only bikini bottoms in the video, reporters wondered if she was concerned about the waves wiping off her bikini. She said, “It was my first time, and I had a great experience, so that is why I shared the video online. I was very lucky that nothing went wrong with my bikini bottoms.”
