Roxanne Tong Shares More Wedding Details
With their wedding taking place before Christmas, Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯) and Kenneth Ma (馬國明 ) are wrapping up their event appearances before flying to Bali for their destination wedding. Achieving her best shape through dieting and exercise, Roxanne is a glowing bride-to-be.
Asked if she will be wearing any daring gowns, Roxanne responded, “The dress I wore for my wedding photos was a little more sexy, but I will wear a simple dress for the ceremony since I don’t want to scare my family. I also prepared an evening gown with a qipao neckline. I won’t be bringing too much gold jewelry besides the dragon and phoenix bracelets my grandmother left me before passing.”
With the most stressful parts of wedding planning behind her, Roxanne remains tight-lipped about the wedding details. However, she disclosed the wedding will include 60 guests.
Other than their friends and family, half of the guests will be from the entertainment industry including 2LINE group members Tracy Chu (朱千雪), Kayi Cheung (張嘉兒), Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢), and Angel Chiang (蔣家旻). The bridesmaids include Roxanne’s sister Jennifer, Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), Samantha Ko (高海寧), and a non celebrity friend. Roxanne intends to throw the bouquet to Samantha and expressed, “Samantha has a lot of admirers! Many of my friends asked to meet her.”
Although the wedding will be in Bali, Roxanne will follow Chinese traditions and have her hair dressing ceremony the night before. After marriage, Roxanne plans to dress modestly and will respect Kenneth and discuss with him if she needs to wear any revealing outfits for work reasons.
Recently, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) told reporters he had no time to attend the wedding, leading to a lot of backlash in regards to his attitude. Although Kevin was an invited guest, Roxanne expressed, “I understand it’s hard for families with young children to come to a destination wedding. We’ll see if we can find a time to have dinner when we return. It won’t affect the ceremony anyway.” When asked if she had received a gift from Kevin, Roxanne said she has not yet.
