Ruco Chan and Linda Chung Kiss Under the Rain
Amy Wong’s (王心慰) new TVB television drama, Big Wheel <巨輪> is currently still in active drama. Starring Louise Lee (李司棋), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Kristal Tin (田蕊妮), and Louis Yuen (阮兆祥), Big Wheel is a cross-millennium drama that centers on the story of two half-brothers during the 1980s to the 2010s. A majority of Big Wheel’s story line will take place in the 1990s. Close attention was put towards recreating 1990s technology and culture in the drama, and TVB expressed that they hoped the viewers will be able to take an unforgettable trip down on memory lane while watching Big Wheel.
On the night November 9, Ruco Chan and Linda Chung were caught filming a romantic kissing scene under the rain. The shot being filmed was about Ruco and Linda hiding inside a phone booth to wait for the rain shower to pass. The scene is reminiscent of a similar kissing scene between Andy Lau (劉德華) and Maggie Cheung (張可頤) in the 1988 film, As Tears Go By <旺角卡門>, in which Andy and Maggie also kissed passionately inside a phone booth.
Kissed for 20 Seconds
The scene was filmed in East Tsim Sha Tsui in the early evening, and it attracted a large crowd of curious onlookers, many whom took out their cameras and phones to snap a picture of the onscreen couple. Due to the loud noise and the uncontrollable flash photography, the cast and crew had to retake the scene several times.
Ruco and Linda kissed for about twenty seconds. Ruco first kissed Linda on her left cheek, and then proceeded to her lips. Before the camera rolled, Ruco and Linda tried several kissing positions. Ruco appeared nervous, and asked Linda several times if the proposed positions were fine with her. Ruco grew more at ease when he had to kiss Linda for a second time. Ruco and Linda acted very professional, and there were no outtakes.
Afterwards, when Linda was asked what she did to prepare for the romantic scene with Ruco. Linda simply said, “I chewed a lot of gum.”
Big Wheel will move its on location filming to Macau in several weeks. Principal photography is expected to wrap up by December 2012.

I honestly think doing a kissing scene is difficult.. its hard for someone to kiss someone w/o any intimate feelings.. so I really think Linda is good, she can do this kissing scene without second take.

Haha. I like how the narrator of the clip uses terms from Golden forum. People there indeed called the actresses they like either ‘BB’ or ‘goddess’ (nui san) and the actors they like ‘god’ (nam san).
There are a lot of goddesses in HK entertainment world. Yet only a few are qualified by Gordon as gods. Ruco is one after airing of TOT last year. He really owns the title Gordon god(Gordon nam san).

No wonder he looks so tired. He’s filming his 4th drama in 9 months-superman! In TBB factory, artistes have to work round the clock, especially the main characters.
