Sister Drama of “Ashes of Love” to Star Chen Xingxu and Landy Li
Billed as the sister drama of Ashes of Love <香蜜沉沉燼如霜>, historical romance Love When the Stars Fall <星落凝成糖> will be the third and final part of “Honey” trilogy series.
Details of the drama was announced last year, but the leads were only recently settled. Although not officially announced yet, Chen Xingxu (陳星旭), who had his breakout performance in Goodbye My Princess (东宫), will headline the new drama along with actress Landy Li (李蘭迪).
Adapted from a novel of the same name by author Yi Du Jun Hua (一度君華), Love When the Stars Fall tells the story of two princesses in the mortal realm, a genteel and kind sister betrothed to heavenly first prince of the immortal tribe and her clever, shrewd but cruel younger sister who is betrothed to the demon prince of the devil tribe. A twist of fate results in the two sisters being wrongly assigned, with countless jokes ensuing, and unravelling two romantic, charming storylines.

Hos acting is good. I really like his acting in goodbye my princess so hopefully this one is good!
I am glad that they are trying out different pairing. Both Landy and Oliver can act, but they haven’t been in recent productions that can showcase their acting skills. I just hope the plot will be good even though it sound cliched. But I am willing to give it a try. Can’t wait for the trailer. I want to see if they have chemistry.
