Tony Hung and Inez Leong to Get Married on July 11

After a successful bathroom proposal at home, Tony Hung (洪永城) and model/ fitness entrepreneur Inez Leong (梁諾妍) are getting married on July 11. With only a few days to go before their big day, Inez revealed Tony is eager to be handsome groom and has been even more diligent than her in his skincare regimen!

Although the couple announced their engagement only last month, Tony had actually proposed in February. They have already taken wedding photos and registered for a marriage license. They will be hosting a private wedding, rumored to take place at a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, to share their joy with loved ones and some industry friends.

Since the Hong Kong government has relaxed gathering restrictions recently, the couple is eager to get married quickly. Inez said, “When we found out wedding gatherings can be expanded to 50 people, we immediately set the date—we’re afraid it would be restricted to 20 people again. My relatives in Macau cannot attend, and Tony’s mother can’t return from Taiwan either. We’ll have the tea ceremony through video chat then.”

With the couple’s haste to get married, many speculate it to be a flash wedding and that Inez may already be pregnant. Confronted with the rumors, Tony responded vaguely, “A family does bring more happiness–I’m looking forward to it.”

As Tony is working hard as a first-time producer for his new drama The Haunted House Cleaners <凶宅清潔師> and Inez has been busy with work as well, the couple will be scrambling last minute preparing for their wedding day on Sunday.

While time is tight, Tony still wants to look his best on his wedding day. Inez laughed, “He does a full mask every day, and quit carbs to lose weight. He even wants to buy a shampoo to rapidly stimulate hair growth, because he wants to gel his hair. I told him to wear a wig! I don’t mind whether he has hair or not, it’s true love!”
