Top TVB Artistes Celebrate Virginia Lok’s Birthday
TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲) once again celebrated her birthday with a party thrown by her loyal artistes.
One of the most influential figures at TVB, Ms. Lok has helped many artistes rise to stardom and has also salvaged dozens of careers during the aftermaths of major scandals. Occupying a special place inside their hearts, TVB’s top talents organize an elaborate birthday party for her every year to show their appreciation. Last year, nearly 100 artistes showed up at the celebration, making it one of the most star-studded annual events to take place in Hong Kong.
Ms. Lok’s 55th birthday party this year was held at a restaurant in Central on June 30. Many popular actresses were in attendance, including Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Eliza Sam (岑麗香), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Grace Wong (王君馨), Tracy Ip (葉翠翠), and Miss Hong Kong winners Grace Chan (陳凱琳) and Sisley Choi (蔡思貝). Favorite male stars Joe Ma (馬德鐘) and Fred Cheng (鄭俊弘) also appeared, as well as Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), who has taken time away from his extremely busy filming and oyster bar commitments in order to attend.
As usual, Ms. Lok enforced a no-gift policy at the event, and even paid for everyone’s meals and drinks out of her own pocket. Despite this, Bosco was seen showing up with a gift bag which he later described as something women would like.
In a good mood, Ms. Lok shared her birthday wish that Hong Kong will be well and prosperous. Although actress Coffee Lam‘s (林芊妤) public restroom tryst has caused her many headaches, she refused to let the issue dampen her mood, saying that she will speak more about it at a later time and praised that her artistes have always been obedient.

yes, she’s happily married with successful career and family life. she’s example of 21st century woman with career and family at the same time. saw miss lok attend tvb event with husband and their son (late teen or early 20s, he look quite an adult) on tvb tv. never saw her daughter before though. I didn’t know she has a daughter. coz she mention her son on tv.
