William Chak, Toby Chan Remain Friends After Breakup

Although they never admitted to dating, Toby Chan (陳庭欣) and William Chak‘s (翟威廉) relationship has been an open secret. The ex-couple, who won Miss Hong Kong and Mr. Hong Kong in 2010 respectively, began dating soon after. Toby was photographed multiple times spending the night at William’s house. However, it was reported that the couple broke up last year.

Despite the breakup and Toby now dating another man, she and William continue to make guest appearances together. Still meeting up for dinner, their relationship appears to be very ambiguous.

During an interview recently, William denied the two’s rekindled romance. He stated that they cannot see a future together, nor does he want to get in between Toby’s new relationship.

In regards to William’s supposed statement, Toby calmly responded, “The topic is fabricated. I have always known that he [William] does not talk about his romantic life. I’m the same way. In regards to relationships, it is okay as long as family and the involved parties know. It is better to be low profile. This is our private matter. I hope everyone understands!”

William responded, “She [Toby] is a good friend that I cherish!”
