Raymond Lam Rides Train to Check Out Concert Posters

EEG spent over a seven-figure sum in promoting Raymond Lam’s (林峯) April concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Over 200 concert posters were found around Central Station recently. Rarely seen taking public transit, Raymond was seen at the station checking out the concert posters.

When Raymond made an unannounced visit at the transit station, a crowd with over 100 people quickly swarmed around the 36-year-old star. Evidently in a good mood, Raymond causally chatted with his fans and agreed to take photos. After successfully purchasing a ticket for the ride, Raymond forgot to take back his change and his fans had to kindly remind him. Appearing slightly confused when approaching the turnstiles as well, Raymond laughed and said he felt like a countryman going into the city for the first time.

Raymond expressed, “I didn’t even know that the new tickets can be scanned electronically. I was wondering why there wasn’t a slot to take my ticket!”

Admitting that he has not taken the train in over five years, Raymond said, “Being next to everyone so closely on the train was great and very surprising. I’ll make sure to include a lot of up close and personal interaction time with the fans during my concert.”

    1. @mike Because he has a car for over 15 years so he drives to the place he wants. If not, normally he uses taxi to be faster and go exact the place they want.

He didnt take a train for 5 years, which means before he used it. But after 5 years, the train ticket system changed.

  1. probably due to his popularity that he is not taking public transit. But gotta say, the public transit is so convenient in HK.

  2. He went all out to promote his concert for sure! He don’t trust his company or what…..
