Wong Cho Lam: “I Slept in the Same Bed as Leanne Li”

Known for their crazy height difference, couple Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) and Leanne Li (李亞男) were among the many celebrity guests that attended the wedding ceremony of former Miss Hong Kong contestant, Mandy Lam (林淑敏) and her boyfriend of 13 years, Tommy Chan (陳中原). Two nights ago, Mandy and Tommy married in a Methodist wedding ceremony in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

Other guests included Baby Po (寶佩如), May Kwong (鄺文珣), Zac Kao (高皓正), Elena Kong (江美儀), Mary Hon (韓瑪利), and Timothy Cheng (鄭子誠). Both living in Canada, Mandy’s parents were unable to come to Hong Kong to witness the wedding. Mandy therefore asked toy tycoon, Francis Choi (蔡志明), and his wife to officiate the wedding. Mandy and Tommy expressed that Francis was like their second father.

Asked if the newlyweds are planning to have a child soon, Mandy, who recently recovered from breast cancer, admitted that child rearing will be difficult for her. “I am still undergoing hormone therapy, so I cannot give birth. It is unfair to my husband, but he is very forgiving. I will acquiesce in the Lord’s arrangements.”

Wong Cho Lam Jokes: “Leanne Li is Pregnant”

A few days before Mandy’s wedding, Wong Cho Lam and Leanne Li were vacationing in Thailand. Asked if they stayed in the same room, Cho Lam joked, “Of course. What’s done is done. She is now pregnant with my child, and we will get married tomorrow!” (Did you two sleep on the same bed?) “Same room, same bed, and we are living together. However, my mother was also with us!”

In an earlier press conference for Eric Tsang’s (曾志偉) Lunar New Year film, I Love Hong Kong 2013 <2013我愛HK 恭喜發財>, Cho Lam revealed that Leanne had purchased a $5,000 HKD special license plate that read “Handelababy,” Cho Lam’s cross-dressing gag role in the 2010 variety show, Fun with Liza and Gods <荃加福祿壽>. Cho Lam explained, “Everyone would know that the car is mine if I use it! It’s her way of trapping me.”

Asked if Cho Lam, who has been dating Leanne for nearly three years, plans to propose to her soon, Cho Lam smiled and expressed that he is currently saving money for their wedding. He then added humorously, “Because I cross-dress so much, I’m afraid that Leanne will end up being the groom, and I the bride, at our wedding. That will be quite a hassle!”

Eric Tsang added with a laugh, “That is a possibility, but since you’ve already done so much, your cross-dressing won’t be a surprise to anyone anymore. It’s better to just go naked.”

  1. Hmm, question for the girls, does it matter if your boyfriend still lives with his family?

    1. Well….. if you’re into PDA in front of your bf’s father and mother…..

    2. I don’t really mind as long as he can make money to support himself and his future than I’m fine with it. As long as he doesn’t mooch or live off of his parent.

      1. But is a different story if he wants me to live with his parent and him. If he wants me to live together they can’t be the monster in-laws and he has to respect my boundaries

  2. Hahaha……….I still think Cho Lam is a “boy” in terms of his looks, his maturity and especially his “body size”…..eventually, I think Leanne will look for a “man”…..someone she can look up to and can protect her and make her feel like a woman inside out…….I doubt Cho Lam can ever do any of these things……….

    1. I somewhat agree, I am still very surprised by how this tall, educated, pretty girl from Canada? actually have any kind of attraction to this BOY…I mean seriously, he looks like he’s still trying to grow or something haha LOL…
One of my friend says, this girl is very under promoted/neglected whatever we want call it from TVB, n this shorty does have some connections so they are saying probably she wants to get some popularity boost from him? I mean, seriously it does seem pretty odd to see them together, not only the height differences. I dont know… lets see if she will break his little boy’s heart later on…

  3. The recent multiple reports about couples sharing the same hotel rooms have really been irritating even though I am indifferent to when they are cohabitating. I think it is because it reminds me of when I was silently furious when my friend walked into my hotel room and saw me sitting on my bed because long before korean soap operas agreed with me, I knew that no one should know what your bed looks like. Wow, society has really come a long way since those days.

  4. Money talks. You dont need good looks to get pretty girls. This is one example of it.
