Bosco Wong Becomes “Crippled Co” On His Birthday

Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) has reprised his role as “Crippled Co” on his birthday.

While filming an action sequence for the new Shaw Brothers web drama Flying Tiger II <飛虎之雷霆極戰>, the actor fractured a few bones on the bottom of his left foot, requiring surgery and subsequent hospitalization. The actor—who will turn 38 years old on December 13—had no choice but to cancel his birthday fan meeting.

Many fans wished him good health and expressed their sadness at the cancelation, but some did not forget to bring laughter to kill the pain, referring to Bosco as “Crippled Co”—his character in the 2011 television drama Lives of Omission <潛行狙擊>.

Sharing updates with his fans on social media, Bosco said, “Although an accident happened during filming, but don’t worry. The surgery was very successful. Right now, I will focus on recuperating so I can quickly return to the team to repay your love!”

Bosco’s costars Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Ron Ng (吳卓羲), and TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲) have visited Bosco in the hospital. Michael said, “Get well soon! I’ll cook some noodles for you when you come out!”
