90 TVB Artistes Show Support at TVB’s Concert for Hong Kong
TVB’s new variety program “Sing Hong Kong Concert” <香港唱好演唱會> had its recording at TVB Studios in Tseung Kwan O today. Attended by 90 TVB artistes, the two and a half hour special show is hosted by Liza Wang (汪明荃), Janice Chan (陳貝兒), Luk Ho-ming (陸浩明), Karl Ting (丁子朗), and more. As a rookie, 22-year-old Karl was the butt of tonight’s jokes, as he constantly made mistakes in his speeches. Luk Ho-ming suggested that Karl should treat everyone for dinner, which Karl cleverly clapped back, saying that he’s going to have spend his entire year’s salary before he could fix it.
Stars that attended the show included Moses Chan (陳豪), Joe Ma (馬德鐘), Vincent Wong (王浩信), Ali Lee (李佳芯), Kelly Cheung (張曦雯), and Kaman Kong (江嘉敏). The rumored Fist Fight <兄弟> couple, Vincent and Kaman, took the media’s attention that night—Vincent looked tired, stiff, and did not interact with Kaman at all. Kaman, on the other hand, was having great conversations with Lai Lok-yi (黎諾懿) and Shaun Tam (譚俊彥).
2019 Miss Hong Kong winners Carmaney Wong (黃嘉雯), Fei Wong (王菲), and Kelly Gu (古佩玲) were also in attendance. MHK Carmeny Wong said she hopes the show would release more positive energy to a darkening city. With the Mid-Autumn Festival on Friday, Carmaney said she will be spending it with family, but her boyfriend will not be with her. “He’s never seen my parents. (They can’t accept a foreigner as a boyfriend?) Of course not! We’re just taking it slow. My parents know of him. I’ll introduce him when it’s time.”
Runner-ups Fei Wong and Kelly Gu also won’t be spending the Mid-Autumn Festival with their boyfriends. Fei Wong’s boyfriend is spending it with his family overseas, while Kelly’s boyfriend is not in Hong Kong.
