Miss Hong Kong 2025 Winners Admit to Dating
This year’s Miss Hong Kong pageant has crowned Stacey Chan (陳詠詩) as the champion and the media has already uncovered her relationship status. Although Stacey’s personal photos with her boyfriend has been leaked, the beauty queen is unbothered.
When asked about the leaked photos at the awards ceremony, Stacey responded, “I posted them openly back then. I lived abroad for two years and went to study in New York together. The culture there is a little different from Hong Kong. I didn’t want to hide it when I returned to Hong Kong. If I wanted to hide it, I wouldn’t have posted it in the first place.”
Stacey confessed to have been dating her boyfriend for three years and shared that their relationship is stable. While many pageant winners experience a breakup with their boyfriends after being crowned, Stacey is unmoved and said, “I’ve heard about it. I’ll just let it happen naturally. I’m not worried at the moment.”
As Stacy deleted her sexy photos from her social media, she was asked if she was pressured by her company. Stacey said, “It was my own idea. The finals have a swimsuit segment, and I don’t want my swimsuit photos to be public so quickly. I want to keep it secret. Also I didn’t think there was any problem with posting it. It’s just that the culture in Hong Kong is different. It’s not about hiding.
Similarly, first runner-up Angela Stanton (施宇琪) named runner-up, and second runner-up Jane Yuan (袁文靜) are not afraid to admit to being in a relationship or worried breakups after their victory. Angela has taken steps to delete personal photos from social media to protect her boyfriend’s privacy.
When asked if Angela’s victory would put pre4ssure on her boyfriend, Angel responded, “He has no pressure. He understands my personality very well and knows I am an honest person. Beauty pageants and romantic relationships aren’t necessarily related. We have confidence in our relationship, and of course, I hope we won’t break up.”
Jane revealed that she and her boyfriend have been in a stable relationship for four years. After winning second runner-up, Jane celebrated with her boyfriend and family at a Shanghainese restaurant.
