Zhao Lusi Goes Viral After the Release of “Hidden Love” Trailer

Ahead of its release, romance drama, Hidden Love <偷偷藏不住> starring Zhao Lusi (趙露思) and Chen Zheyuan (陳哲遠) is on many netizen’s radar. When a new trailer was released, it garnered over 12.1 million views in one day and was added to 1.7 million netizens’ watch list.

Adapted from a novel of the same name, the drama follows the story of Sang Zhi (Zhao Lusi) who has been secretly in love with her brother’s friend Duan Jia Xu (Chen Zheyuan) for a long time. When Duan Jia Xu graduated from college, the two grew distant over a misunderstanding. It wasn’t until Sang Zhi graduated that she got to know Duan Jia Xu’s personal struggles and grew closer again.

In the drama, Zhao Lusi is challenging herself to play a young girl who is experiencing her first love. In the trailer, Zhao Lusi can be seen gushing over her crush as he writes his name on a piece of paper. Fans were impressed that the actress was able to portray the young character’s innocence and shared that scene reminded them of their school crush.
