“Lan Kwai Fong 3” Releases Official Trailer
The official trailer of Lan Kwai Fong 3 <<喜愛夜蒲3> was unveiled today and quickly shared among social networks. Since the original nightclub sex film was introduced in 2011, director Wilson Chin (錢國偉) released a new installment each year, hoping to cash in on its tried-and-true formula of beautiful couples making out.
Set in Hong Kong’s nightclub and bar district, Lan Kwai Fong, the film follows three couples as they act out their desires. Jason Chan (陳柏宇), Whitney Hui (許亦妮), Jeana Ho (何佩瑜), Alex Lam (林德信), Ava Yu (雨僑) star and Celia Kwok (郭穎兒). Michael Tse (謝天華), Christine Ng (伍詠薇), Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀), and Ronan Pak (白健恩) make cameo appearances.
2011 Miss Hong Kong runner-up, Whitney Hui, was promoted as lead star after Dada Chen (陳靜) stepped down from the role during her three-month disappearance from the entertainment scene. Despite promotions centering around Whitney, she has limited explicit scenes in the movie. Director Wilson Chin explained that this was due to Whitney being managed under Hong Kong television station, TVB, who fiercely protects the images of its artists. In the trailer, Whitney appears in lingerie and has a French kiss in a car with Jason Chan. Ava Yu took over some of the bolder scenes which were originally meant for Dada, including an outdoor spa sequence which was filmed in Korean.
Although Lan Kwai Fong 3 was originally schedule to open in theaters this Christmas, the release date has been pushed to early 2014.

When I saw Jason Chan’s name in the above article, I thought it is Chan Chi Sun (the one with a good-boy image).

I started liking Chan Pak Yu after watching ‘Lan Kwai Fong 1’. Before that, I only know him by name and didn’t really know how he looks like. I always mix him up with the other new male singers of the same generation like Kelvin Kwan and Pakho Chou.

I’d only want to watch it for Ava! Until now, I still see her to have a pretty clean image and I wouldn’t expect her to go as far as being so risky. Can’t wait

Is this a Cat 3?! See I’m surprised they make these movies given the conservative values in HK. I mean if a trailer like this is being shown in theaters.

Only the older generation is conservative in HK. This type of movie is popular with and made for the younger crowd obviously.

It is only a Cat. II-B movie?!. I watched the video clip and some girls were showing nude. The restrictions in Hong Kong are pretty loose now.
They were not nude, just showing lots of skin.
Is this a Wong Jing film?? From the trailer and a quick fast forward of Lan Kwai Fong 2, it has his name written all over it…aka cheap, loads of stripping, zero story line, bad acting.

^FYI, the “Lan Kwai Fong” movie series represent a rare bright spot on the commercial viability of HK films in recent years.

Ava Liu?? I watch her on youtube…didn’t know she’s well known in the entertainment business.
She started out as a singer, but never really made it big, so I guess that’s why she’s filming this now.
I don’t think it is a good idea for a Miss Hong Kong winner (any top 3) to film this kind of movie even if she does not have to strip much. It spoils the good image of Miss Hong Kong.

True, but a lot of girls these days join MHK as a quick way to get in the entertainment circle. They are not classy nor elegant to begin with.
I’m not even surprised whitney hui is starring in this type of movie. I’m most surprised with Ava’s appearance. I thought her image was rather sophisticated and classy, which clashes with the acting this type of movie requires.
It’s for the money, and possible fame. She’s been in the business for a few years, but still not that well-known.
I really do not know any one of these sexy artists except Whitney..

Who knows this mild version of AV is well craved by HK people allowing 3 installments as of now. Wilson Chin is a genius.
