Laure Shang Releases Special Edition of “Graceland” After Dominating Music Charts

Mainland Chinese singer-songwriter Laure Shang (尚雯婕), who won the third season of singing contest Super Girl <超級女聲>, released her ninth album, Graceland <恩賜之地>, in October 2013. In order to celebrate the album’s success on Chinese-language music charts and thanks her fans, the media, and critics for their support, Laure recently released a special CD+DVD edition, titled Graceland+ <恩賜之地+>.

Since her appearances on Super Girl and I Am A Singer <我是歌手>, Laure has wowed listeners with her innovative and unique musical pieces, as well as her ability to perform and write songs in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and French. In 2013, she established her own music studio, under which she produced Graceland.

Covering a wide range of different styles, Graceland shows off Laure’s vast musical and creative talents, not only in singing, but also songwriting, composing, and visual storytelling. In addition to the eight tracks from the original release, Graceland+ features six additional songs, including a duet with last year’s Super Boys <快樂男聲> contestant Hua Chenyu (華晨宇) and a remix of “Love Changes Love” (越愛越明白), one of the most popular songs in Graceland.
