Aaron Yan Plans Comeback Event

Last June, Aaron Yan (炎亞綸)  was accused by male influencer Yao Le (耀樂) of engaging and filming their sexual activities when Yao Le was 16 years old. Ever since Aaron was indicted with creating and disseminating an intimate video with a minor, his rights to leave Taiwan were restricted. The charges were later dropped due to insufficient evidence. After eight months, the travel restrictions have been lifted and Aaron immediately headed to Tokyo for work after posting bail of 1.5 million New Taiwan dollars.

Although Aaron’s reputation was dented by Yao Le’s case, the former is slowly picking up job offers again. Testing the waters for a comeback, Aaron performed in a Chinese New Year’s show and acted as a one-day manager at a store’s special event. It is said that other than Taiwan, he has a lot of job opportunities overseas.

After Japan, it is rumored that Aaron will be holding a fan meeting in Macau on April 2. Sales for the tickets started at the end of last month and there will be four categories of pricing ranging from 830 to 3000 Chinese yuan. There will also be opportunities to win merchandise and other undisclosed special items. At this time, Aaron has not posted about this event on his social media but his fans club has already circulated the news and many fans have already bought tickets, eager to support the star’s comeback.

  1. I never thought I would one day be turned off by him… Not a fan but never disliked him before till now.

  2. I definitely don’t think I can watch him in anything anymore. Even if everything was consensual, it still feels gross to me that a 30+ year old man would have relations with a 16 year old boy (half his age!) and secretly film him. I’m usually all for celebrities leading their own private lives, but this is just too much for me to be able to ignore when he’s on screen. He’s obviously still free to act or make a come back as he pleases. I just personally won’t have the stomach to watch him.

  3. Taiwan sure is lenient when it comes to scandals. If this happens in China, he would have been what they call #house will crumple#? Whether he’s guilty or not he definitely would not be able to easily come back and still be around after this kind of fiasco. Never like any of this F group but he seems to be the one getting the most attention these days.
