After Divorce, Zhao Liying and Feng Shaofeng Take Turns Caring for Son
Although Zanilia Zhao Liying (趙麗穎) and William Feng Shaofeng (馮紹峰) filed for divorce in April 2021, the ex-couple remains on friendly terms while sharing custody of their 2-year-old son. Despite the stars’ hectic careers, they continue to communicate and make efforts to spend time with their son.
Currently focused on her promotional activities, Zhao Liying was seen wearing a beautiful white dress at a photoshoot. While the actress is tied up at the studio for multiple days, Feng Shaofeng was seen entering an apartment in Shanghai by himself.
Many tabloids suspect that the apartment is owned by Zhao Liying given that her car was found parked in the garage, and her driver was seen approaching the actor’s car. The theory was confirmed by an insider close to the couple who revealed that Feng Shaofeng freed up his schedule to pick up his son, as Zhao Liying was scheduled to fly to Beijing the next day.
The insider also shared that since the stars’ son now resides in Shanghai with Feng Shaofeng’s parents, Zhao Liying makes frequent trips between Beijing and Shanghai. She even purchased a new apartment in early June to be closer to her son.
Despite a very publicized divorce, Feng Shaofeng and Zhao Liying have a mutual respect for each other’s boundaries, and agree to protect their son’s privacy by not posting his pictures on social media

She is a mum, why feel sorry for her moving between cities…It is her choice to do so. I dont feel sorry for her as this is her career choice. Her son will just be moving between parents and grandparents..She is not the only single mums…but she is one of the few Top earners mums.
Lol, she has good marketing team. Every 2 weeks, they literally churning out positive news about her: building an strong, hard working mother who is career driven but not neglecting her son, and how her divorce is all because of her ex’s family’s faults, and how after the divorce, she’s doing much better out of the two, etc etc. not saying this isn’t true, but gosh, it really feels like they are trying hard, really hard. And the tones of those articles are totally ZLY’s fanboys/fan girls
@LittleFish I agree, I can read just how active her team is at painting her in a positive and almost Superwoman image… Putting shame to other mums who put their career ahead of their kids or even neglecting their kids… The marriage broke down because of the in-laws and softy husband…
