Airing in 2017, Eternal Love < 三生三世十里桃花> was one of China’s most successful fantasy romances and catapulted Yang Mi‘s (楊冪) career to an even higher level. Dilraba Dilmurut (迪麗熱巴) and Vengo Gao (高偉光) subsequently starred in the sequel, Eternal Love of Dream <三生三世枕上書> and helped cement their status in the industry. There was always talk that a third installment adapted from the trilogy would follow.
The latest casting rumors claim that Eternal Love 3 <三生三世步生蓮> will star Bai Lu (白鹿) and Leo Luo Yunxi (羅雲熙) in the leading roles. The pair was recently in the tragic romance Till the End of the Moon <長月燼明>. Netizens are pleased with the pairing and casting, as both Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi have performed well in their previous dramas. Many are confident that Bai Lu’s beauty and acting skills will allow her to take the torch from Yang Mi (楊冪) and continue the success of the series.
Filming for the drama will reportedly start in June.

Yea, not happening. LYX’s filming currently and that’s only started, no way he will be able to finish that n start one straight away. Also from a LYX fan who told me, LYX only do 1 period drama a year due to him being allergic to the hair glue they used. And I think BL is having a new drama that she’s filming as well? Anyway, unlikely this news is true
‘?’ at the end of this news article title, feels more like a rumor/gossip by some shipper fan, moreover than a confirmation by the company and artists. It even states ‘casting rumors’ (last paragraph). It would be nice if the two collab for the 3rd time, but slim chance since we all know that production always have last minute changes due to company’s decision or busy scheduling
No matter how many times people say they have chemistry, I fail to see it. So no, don’t need them to couple up again lol.
