Ben Wong Leaves the Hard Work for Ruco Chan
Ben Wong (黃智賢) has been busy filming for new TVB drama Extraordinarily Mysterious Cases <逆天奇案>. He will play the role of a detective and will be collaborating with Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and Joman Chiang (蔣祖曼) for the first time.
The drama features ten different cases ranging from murder, kidnapping, white-collar crime, and lots of exciting car chase scenes. Every case will feature different actors ensuring that the audience will never be bored.
Ben shared that it was tough filming under summer conditions especially with scenes where he is pursuing criminals. “However my role is more of the brains of the investigation so I leave most of the hard work for Ruco who is the brawns. He is more fit than me anyways!”
He mentioned that his roles as of late have all been professionals or calm, rational individuals. Ben joked that he would love to portray characters where he is not the sharpest tool in the shed or ones where he pretends to be innocent but is actually manipulative.
