Cecilia Cheung and Nicholas Tse Are Still Good Friends

After spending a few months living in Vancouver, Canada to test the waters, Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝) decided to move to Singapore with her two sons, Lucas Tse (謝振軒) and Quintus Tse (謝振南). Last month, Cecilia’s ex-husband Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) was spotted with her and their two sons in Singapore, sparking reconciliation rumors. Nicholas confirmed later in various interviews that he is still single.

In a recent interview, Cecilia revealed that she has already arranged for her two sons to study at international schools in Singapore. Though she has moved her permanent home out of Hong Kong, Cecilia has no plans to retire from the industry and will begin work once her sons have settled in to school.

In regards to her reconciliation rumors with Nicholas, Cecilia clarified that they are not back together, but insisted that she is still good friends with him. “We don’t just talk about our sons. We talk about other things too,” she said. “We are getting along fine. We have a warm family and we do not purposely put up an act in front of our sons. We have a very good relationship.”

She also revealed some tidbits about her two sons’ personalities, saying that Lucas is hyper and idolizes his father, while Quintus is quieter and enjoys music. While her two sons are busy adapting to their new schools, Cecilia is also volunteering at various profit-free organizations in Singapore. A netizen recently spotted Cecilia volunteering at what appears to be a food factory, and photos of Cecilia with the factory workers were also uploaded online.

Cecilia expressed that she recently purchased a fort-like estate in Canada and is saving it as a retirement home. She confidently said, “I don’t need to spend a man’s money. Everything I’ve purchased is with my own money.”

Though Cecilia feels the stress of being a single mother, she does not mind the pressure, saying blissfully, “As long as I can see my sons smiling like angels, all my worries will go away.”

    1. So that the kids can continue their education in Chinese.

Jet Li had done the same by relocating from the States to Singapore.

    2. Well also Singapore is a short flight to HK or China. If Nicolas want to see his sons he can see them more easily versus Vancouver.

I also think it’s good she move her sons out of HK to give them somewhat of a normal life and privacy.
