Crystal Fung Dubbed as “Queen of Variety Shows”

With Eric Tsang (曾志偉) and Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) unveiling TVB’s new variety shows this year, Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) will be part of three shows this year.  The 26-year-old reveals that she does not have any dramas lined up at the moment, so she can focus on hosting variety shows.

Heating up trending topics in ongoing talk show Youth and Restless <後生仔傾吓偈>, Crystal will also be a part of Deciphering Scheming Girls <解構心機女> and Happy Variety <開心大綜藝>. Labelled as the “Queen of Variety Shows,” Crystal said that she is still very far from holding that position. “It is only because I participated in a lot of variety shows recently, so people are getting tired of seeing me. I still have a long path before I can reach that title. Just because I do a lot of shows doesn’t mean I am doing a good job.”

Given that her workload is full with upcoming variety shows, she does not have any dramas lined up. “I previously filmed two dramas Sinister Beings <逆天奇案> and AI Romantic <智能愛人>, which will be released this year.”

Like many celebrities during the pandemic, Crystal also started her own YouTube channel sharing lifestyle videos, as well as tips and advice for viewers. In a recent video, she discussed 10 successful tips for securing a date with her. “Everything I shared was true and not made up. Out of the 10, I only shared 5 so far, but I will reveal things that people didn’t know in the next episode. The last one is very crazy, which I will share last. It’s so funny that people wouldn’t even believe me. I am very excited to share it.”

She has shown lots of improvement in her enunciation, now for her to tone down on her pitch…just a tad will be good

Both her and Grace Chan definitely better as hosts than actors. They feel more natural talking as hosts than acting, not to mention they are both very pretty and eye pleasing to look at.
