Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition from Hong Kong University, actress Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) has been out of the limelight in recent years, as she focused on furthering her studies with a Master’s back at her alma mater.

With no new drama appearances in the past 2 years, the 29-year-old did not stay idle, but started her own Youtube channel in which she shared nutritional knowledge with viewers, her area of specialty.
Arousing concern from netizens for looking paper-thin lately in a photo riding on the “Barbie” bandwagon, Crystal explained that she made a deliberate effort to adjust her diet as she put on weight easily from frequently dining out.
In the video, she measured her waistline which was revealed to be an enviable 21.5 inches. Sharing her unique recipe of blending yoghurt, cucumber and kiwi into a waist-slimming beverage, Crystal tested the drink and gave it a thumbs up. Viewers commended the actress on her improved speaking techniques, remarking that she has sorted out much of her earlier issue of “lazy pronunciation”.
Taking time to personally respond to each one of netizens’ comments, Crystal shared that she would be filming and sharing more nutrition-related content in time! Earlier, the Miss Hong Kong 2016 winner had turned down rumors of her planning to leave TVB after allegedly being frozen.

I actually think she’s doing it in a healthy way. She seems extremely disciplined about exercising, dieting, and studying. She might seem like she talks a lot and says risqué things, but she’s definitely an intelligent person. She’s a businesswoman before an actress. She was investing in NFTs and now she’s branding herself as a lifestyle influencer. She’s gonna make more money than actresses in her age range still trying to climb at TVB. And if being a business woman or actress fails, she still has a Masters so can get a somewhat decent job. How many people under the age of 30 can say they have 3 streams of income or 1 career and 2 backups or 3 careers?
