Him Law and Yoyo Chen Play Divorced Couple in New Drama
Having worked together in L’Escargot <缺宅男女> 10 years ago, Him Law (羅子溢) and Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤) are collaborating again in their latest project, After Marriage <婚後事>.
On the first day of work, they filmed their divorce scene. Both delivered flawless performances and were able to capture the solemnness of a heartbreaking divorce.
Having taken a year-long break to stay at home with his children after finishing Modern Dynasty <家族榮耀>, Him lost over 10 pounds for his new role. “I hope I get even more haggard during filming; maintaining a thin and worn look is essential for this character. Every time I look at the script, I cried. We had to film a divorce scene in court on the very first day. I was so unhappy for the entire day. After becoming a father, it’s a lot easier to control my emotions –I just think of my children when I’m getting into character. No matter what I do, the end goal is the happiness of the next generation.”
Excited to be working with Him again, Yoyo admitted that she was initially scared of not being able to deliver a good performance and was worried about being unable to get into character. To keep her emotions in check, she relied on listening to love songs.
Excited for the new drama, many fans complimented the two for aging well since their last collaboration, and voiced their anticipation for the upcoming drama.

It’s a good that she have a a change to be main… but the male main is medioce… hope that will not affect her change.
