“Legal Mavericks 2” Wraps Up Filming

Although there were some filming changes due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, Legal Mavericks 2 <踩過界II> wrapped up filming earlier. Due to travel restrictions, the filming location was changed from Myanmar to Tai O, where the last segment of the filming was completed amid rainy weather.

The cast and crew stayed over at Tai O for several days to facilitate the lengthy filming hours. Despite working from morning until night, Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) and Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) revealed there was ample of time to rest and sleep.

Speaking about her role in Legal Mavericks 2, Kelly said her dialogue often had lengthy legal jargon, “I’ve done court scenes before so memorizing lines weren’t too hard for me. However, the real challenge is to incorporate feelings and emotions into the lines.”

Returning to Tai O for filming, Sisley said that the location brought back many wonderful memories and reminded her of filming with Anjaylia Chan (陳嘉寶) and Ali Lee (李佳芯) for the variety show, Girls Go Hiking <山系女行Yama Girl>.

Owen Cheung (張振朗) added that he enjoyed the natural surroundings and solo walks in Tai O, which he finds to be an ideal place for retirement. By filming local tourist spots in Tai O, Vincent Wong (王浩信) hopes the series will help promote Hong Kong tourism after the coronavirus outbreak ends.
