Linda Chung Celebrates 28th Birthday Without Philip Ng

Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) turned 28th on April 9th. Currently on visiting her family in Vancouver, Canada, Linda was pleasantly surprised by her sister and brother-in-law, who organized a surprise birthday celebration for her, inviting Linda’s friends from elementary school through university. Linda was grateful towards her friends for an unforgettable birthday celebration.

Linda wrote on her blog, “I have left Vancouver for 8 years. Many things have changed, but I am happy that our friendship has not changed! I will cherish and be grateful for this! I feel surrounded by love!” Her birthday wishes included the health of her family and friends. Linda thanked her elder sister for organizing the birthday party.

In addition, Linda received numerous birthday greetings from her friends in the entertainment industry, such as Shirley Yeung (楊思琦), Grace Wong (王君馨), Bondy Chiu (趙學而), Bernice Liu (廖碧兒), and Evergreen Mak (麥長青). Linda was excited and responded to many of the greetings left on her Weibo blog.

Recently, rumors circulated that Linda and Philip Ng (伍允龍), may have ended their 5-year relationship. Philip did not leave any public birthday wishes for Linda. Instead, he chose to upload a photo taken with good friend, Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒). Philip revealed that Nicholas had cooked a meal for him, “My brother is responsible for cooking, while I am responsible for eating!”

Although she was in Vancouver, Linda watched her new TVB drama, Daddy Good Deeds <當旺爸爸> at home with her family, who laughed and cried over the plot. In her spare time, Linda bicycled outdoors to enjoy the spring weather and cherry blossoms at a local park. Linda appeared to be thoroughly enjoying her time in Vancouver by spending it with the most important people in her life.

Jayne: Happy birthday to Linda! That’s great that she is able to spend her birthday with her family. I think our birthdays are more special when our mothers, who gave birth to us, can be part of it.

    1. But the cherry blossoms in the background are lovely.

  1. She is a very likeable person, so happy birthday Linda.

  2. Grace Wong? Is that the girl that had a scandal with Edison? That model girl?

    1. That’s Gloria Wong. Grace Wong is an actress/dancer.

  5. “Recently, rumors circulated that Linda and Philip Ng (伍允龍), may have ended their 5-year relationship. Philip did not leave any public birthday wishes for Linda. Instead, he chose to upload a photo taken with good friend, Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒).”

LOL how does the reporter know that Philip didn’t give a personal msg or phone call to Linda? I’m sure his never posted a picture or a msg to Linda during the time that they were ‘supposedly dating’ either.

    1. It’s a shame the relationship didn’t work out. I like Philip as a martial artist and he chose to have a low profile while being with Linda all these years. Maybe they need a little break to be certain and then come back together (which I sincerely wish they will). Both are established enough.

  6. Wonder if I’ll see her around here in Vancouver? I’ve never seen her in vancouver before everytime she’s been back home.

  7. Hmm. That’s a tandem bicycle she’s riding. I wonder who was the other person? I’m guessing…a relative?

    1. Yeah, seems kinda odd to be riding a “couples” bike. The only relative I would ride that w/ is a child. Even then, would still feel dorky.

  8. Jayne, agree with u. Our birthdays are really more special when our Daddy and Mommy can celebrate together with us. Our birthdays reminds us of our mom carried us in their womb for 10 months, it’s not easy at all. In fact we should give pressies to our mom 🙂
On a separate note, Happy Birthday Linda!

  9. Happy Birthday Linda!

However, DGD is boring so glad it’s only 20 episodes.

  10. Happy belated Linda Day! Is she still in Vancouver? Gonna get my cousins to go stalk her there, LOL.

  11. I just turned 28 too! I love Linda Chung, since she’s been in the industry she doesn’t seem to change much. She has kept a great connection with her families and friends, dispit the famous part she is still who she is. This is not a bad pic of Linda she looks real and not dolly like many asian artist who has work done every few years on their face.

  12. I would love to run into Linda! 😀
(i’m currently in Vancouver also).. I wonder how much longer she will be here

  13. I just realized that Linda has the same birthday that I do(except for the year). It is great that she had her friends from elementary to university.WOW, I can’t believe that they kept in touch all of those years… She must have had a memorable day.

  14. Her sister and brother in law hate Linda but they don’t dare to say. They are living on Linda’s money. They know this money is dirty but they need it. Linda is a princess in the family. No one dare to say anything about her.
