Oscar Leung,Vincent Wong, and Nancy Wu in Love Triangle in “Season of Love”

After starring in Tiger Cubs<飛虎>, both Oscar Leung (梁烈唯) and Vincent Wong (王浩信) won praise for their sturdy performances. Oscar’s role as a SDU sniper in Tiger Cubs shined brightly, proving his acting strength and star quality. After becoming a father, Vincent has also brought his acting skills to a higher level. Vincent’s tragic death in Tiger Cubs was also deeply entrenched in the audiences’ minds.

Synopsis of “Season of Love”

Recently, the two Tiger Cubs stars reunited again to film new TVB drama, Season of Love <戀愛季節>.  Oscar and Vincent will be involved in a complex love relationship with Nancy Wu (胡定欣) and JJ Jia (賈曉晨). The story will feature Oscar as Nancy’s ex-husband; Nancy will remarry Vincent after splitting up with Oscar.

Season of Love will feature four different love stories in the seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Kenneth Ma (馬國明) plays a private investigator and his character will connect with the different characters in the four segments. Aside from the different love stories, the drama will also portray the attitudes and values of the young couples towards love. Other cast members also include Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Ron Ng (吳卓羲), Kate Tsui (徐子珊), Him Law (羅仲謙), and Kandy Wong (黃山怡).

During the filming break yesterday, Oscar and Vincent were chatting endlessly with each other. Engrossed in their “men’s talk,” they neglected Nancy, who was sitting alone playing with her phone.

After filming for four hours, Vincent and Nancy wanted to wrap up their filming quickly before the evening. As a doting husband, Vincent called Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤) to inform her that he had completed his filming. Although Vincent was in a hurry to return home, he was gentleman in letting Nancy board the taxi first.

  1. I’m sorta interested in this. I feel like the shorter show (like Tiger Cups), the lesser the chance is for the TVB scriptwriters to repeat the same clichés over and over again within the same show. If TC had been even shorter than the 13 episodes, they could have cut out the middle filler episodes, which weren’t particularly good. With shorter arcs, they might even try to vary the stories up a bit.

I adore Oscar to bits, but he and Nancy look so odd together. They look much more like siblings. Didn’t know JJ was also in the mix. Hope she doesn’t have too complicated lines or scenes, lol. And I really hope we can get a happy ending for Vincent and Nancy this time, but I have a feeling she’ll end up with Oscar instead.

I agree. Haha, I was just thinking that they other day when a friend told me they were a couple in this new series.

  2. I think im one of the few but anyways, I actually enjoy Ron and Kate as a pair. I guess I have to watch this one, since they are pairing up here

  3. Maybe in the end it’s gonna be Vincent&Nancy, Oscar&JJ?? I don’t mind that.

  4. OMGOSHHHHHHHH VINCENT AND NANCY! I still remember the tragedy in Gun Metal Grey.

Can’t see nancy with oscar yet. hes such a babyfaced. who knows maybe i will root for them later. =P

  5. I think this series is quite star studded and there aren’t any one that I particularly dislike. I used to dislike JJ but I think her performance in Ghetto Justice 2 has won me over… for now.

    I’m excited for this 🙂

  6. I hope Nancy Wu will do well in this drama series and will be moved up to do more 1st lead roles in future. She is a great actress.

  7. Nancy Wu and Vincent Wong are paired up beautifully in terms of age, height, look and acting ability. However, I agree that Oscar looks odd to be paired up with Nancy.

  8. Wow i like the casts (except for Ron).
    Looking forward to see it!

  9. I’m kind of bored of Kenneth but everyone else is great 😀

  10. I loved Vincent and Nancy in Gun Metal Gray! I’m sure they’ll be adorable in this drama too
