Raymond Wong Officially Signs with Louis Koo’s Sky High Entertainment

Raymond Wong (黃浩然) has signed with Sky High Entertainment, officially joining the team that also manages Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Raymond Lam (林峯), and Jessica Hsuan (宣萱).

Sky High Entertainment was founded by Louis Koo (古天樂) in 2017. It is the sister agency to One Cool Film Productions, Louis’ film production company. One Cool Film Productions has co-produced films such as Line Walker: The Movie <使徒行者>, Men On the Dragon <逆流大叔>, and also the upcoming film adaptation of A Step into the Past <尋秦記>.

Attending an event in Tsim Sha Tsui, Raymond clarified that his signing Sky High will not affect his working relationship with TVB. “I have always been collaborating with TVB. This past year, it was actually my wife who has been managing me. I never had a management contract with TVB.”

Raymond stressed that he still has two TVB dramas waiting for broadcast—the 2019 anniversary drama Wonder Women <多功能老婆>, and the upcoming blockbuster Forensic Heroes IV <法證先鋒IV>. He will continue working with TVB in the future.

As for his decision to sign with Sky High, Raymond said he has always wanted to return to the film industry. “I still have a dream of doing movies,” he said. Raymond debuted in 1997 Johnnie To (杜琪峯) film Lifeline <十萬火急>. “Since I’m still at the age where I can do a lot, I don’t want to miss the opportunity of doing more movies. I want to manage both movies and television. I won’t be able to do that once I’m older!”

Although Raymond has known Louis for twenty years, it wasn’t until recently when the two hit it right off the bat. “Just as I was thinking about jumping out of my comfort zone, Louis showed up, and we immediately clicked.”

  1. A true list if he decides to leave tvb. He is a handsome actor they’ve neglected to promote. Him and Steven Wong. But they really didn’t do him Steven right at all, he’s so qualified for more prominent roles.
