Roy Chow and Ah Yu Welcome Baby Girl
Roy Chow Wing Hang and Chiu Chung Yu’s daughter was born on August 22nd, in the Mid-Autumn Festival. New father, Roy, revealed excitedly that the baby girl weighed five pounds and twelve ounces. The baby was given a temporary name of Chow Shun Hei, meaning faith and hope. The baby’s English name was Dabbiejoy, a name given by Pastor Jaeson Ma and MC Jin.
Roy commented on his daughter’s features, “The baby has my wife’s long hands and feet.” However, Dabbiejoy’s features resemble Roy and even has a small dimple!

Jayne: Congratulations to Roy Chow and Ah Yu! The baby is cute. I think Roy has better facial features than Ah Yu, so the girl would probably grow up quite pretty!
I also like the meaning of their baby’s name: Chow Shun Hei. The beginning of life and its continued path should be full of faith and hope. Roy was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year. Not sure whether he had surgery or not. But with a condition such as Roy ’s, I’m sure the couple doesn’t take each day in life for granted!

Roy Chiu is an actor. He has acted in some movies and one TVB series (Shine on You). He play Kenix stepson in it.
I also don’t know Roy so I am guessing he is not that famous. Sad to hear that he has a brain tumour. Hopefully that he can get that cured so that he can be around for his wife and new daughter. Congrats to him on his new daughter.
Congrats to Roy and Ah Yu! So glad that the two couple worked it out with this beautiful baby. I remember awhile back when Roy was arrested with drug possession-correct me if I am wrong, but looks like he cleaned himself really good and married the woman who stood by him.
Jayzemine, I think Roy and Ah Yu turned to their Christian faith to help guide them through past obstacles. Being parents will truly test their maturity and responsibility as people.
Also, I think Ah Yu was involved in the Edison nude photo scandal. Thus, both Roy and Ah Yu have gotten their fair share of negative press and have probably matured as a result.

Thanks for the info Jayne! I didn’t not know that Ah Yu was also involved in the Edison Chen incident. I am glad that most of them are able to move on, get married and have kids.
