Stephanie Sun Secretly Married!

Singing sensation, 32-year-old Stephanie Sun, and boyfriend, Nadim Van Der Ros, have been dating for five years. It was revealed that Stephanie and Nadim got married in Singapore on March 31st. Nadim caused a stir when he appeared at Stephanie’s Hong Kong concert in February.

A Netherlands native, 34-year-old Nadim was of Asian descent and was adopted by a Dutch family. He worked as a high-level executive in brand marketing. In his spare time, he loved to water ski and play outdoor sports. Stephanie and Nadim allegedly started dating in 2006. The pair was photographed by the Hong Kong media on a movie date. Due to Nadim’s unshaven look at the time, the media nicknames him as “bearded hunk.”

Japanese Earthquake Prompted Marriage

Although the news came suddenly, Stephanie’s marriage intentions surfaced earlier. At a new album conference in Taiwan earlier, Stephanie noted that the earthquake in Japan changed her values significantly. She lamented that life had many unexpected occurrences. When reporters suggested that she get married earlier, the normally low-profile star readily agreed with the suggestion. Stephanie smiled and said, “When I have time, I will tie the knot!”

Earlier, Stephanie predicted that she will get married before her good friend, Jolin Tsai. Stephanie stated that she wanted togive birth to four children after marriage.

  1. Congrats! At least not a celebrity who hides the marriage. Wedding photos!!

  2. Wow, I can’t imagine that the situation with Japan motivated her to change her values and to get married sooner. Hard to understand the correlation because if she really wanted to get married to this guy, should have done it with or without the Japan incident.

For others, the Japan incident certainly raised some points. Now that the Japanese idiots have finally admitted to the severity of the radioactive leakage (raising the level to a 7) and after nearby countries such as Korea and China have voiced out their complaints and concerns about the disposing of contaminated water into the ocean, I still re-emphasize my earlier points that these Japanese people are hiding something that they don’t want the rest of the world to know. I still think they haven’t learned their lesson from WWII despite it happening 70 years ago. On the surface, they are a kind and gentle breed of people, but deep inside, there’s the imperialistic devil still lurking after all these years. Once again, thank goodness that there is Karma to suppress this bunch of selfish people. Oh, lots of people will probably say that this is off the topic but seeing that the article touched on Japan’s earthquake, always good to remind everyone that it is Karma that’s doing this to them. YES!

    1. yuaida,

have you actually read the contents of the article? I think she explained sufficiently and I think if there’s any reason to get married, then this should be it. There is a correlation, not Japan and her but what happened in Japan and her new appreciation of how short life is and better to spend it with the one you love.

The radioactive leak is of course serious but not THAT serious. If this was Chine we wouldn’t have heard a single thing and wouldn’t have known what is going on. I feel Japan has been pretty transparent, more transparent here than they are in their history textbooks.

I am however concerned at your deep hatred for the Japanese. Did you personally experienced the Japanese cruelty?

      1. Nothing to do with hatred. It simply is a matter of opinion on what they’ve done in the past, how they never faced up to it, and now simply – getting what they deserved. Nothing to do with hatred. Just facts

      2. “Nothing to do with hatred. “

Please. Your words are filled to the brim with hatred.

    2. Yoda, yuda, whoever you are! You are freaking me out. You sound like those fanatics who thinks 911 was just. Man, innocent people dying has nothing to do with political past. Please, I urge you to get help and find your inner peace. Your twisted way of thinking is wrong dude.

      @funn

Damn girl, now your a scientist, too? Lol

      1. What happen to you today? You keep picking fights with people and you sound like you are high or something.

      2. Well since you’re the TRUE historian in this site, I am now the obligatory nuclear scientist so yeah, I am a scientist of the very scientific kind.

      3. I’m not picking fights, just saying what is lol… I don’t even know what that means lol. Anyways, I’m not high nor I’m low. I just didn’t like the way cotton hr candy lady’s preaching style, plus if you read her Bowie post she was all over Page, in that let me teach these young and no nothing youth the harsh reality of the world… Blah blah boring, shut up…drink some tea, have a bao. That is all, no fights. As for Funn, it’s all out love, not! Lol

      1. When karma stops existing? Lol, we all know about the karma, some of us may even agree on the karma but must you go karma karma on us? Starting to sound like a song.. which one? The one by boy george? Karma-karma-karma-karmakameleon.. I know the spelling is off but well, there it is.

      2. Karma-karma-karma-karmakameleon 🙂 I can imagine the melody

      3. Karma-karma-karma-karmakame…yoko :P, then we’ll see Dragon Balls’s famous Kameyoko

      4. hahahahhahh….. you guys get so easily pissed off – but the Karma Chameleon was a guide one. I’d never thought anyone reading this site was anal enough to thinkg of Boy George…..hahaah

      5. 80s music rules!!! Funn you just up your cool factor lol

    3. Wow talk about being bitter. No offense but it’s people like you that’s slowing world progress. Get over it.

      P.S. Quit trolling.

      1. Well, nobody asked about your opinion on how Japan must suffer for WWII but you gave it anyway. So why can’t Lily give hers?
        Grow up.

  3. Boring! When I read the first line I was like where’s the van der ros? I don’t see it, then I read a few lines down, now that make sense lol. Still boring though, was the reporter an ex-personal ad writer? thought I was gonna read…”high exec, in spare time enjoys jet skiing in stephanie’s lingerie” or something lol.
Anywho, don’t know you are but congrats.
Off topic, used to work with a guy at office named Nadeem not nadim, what a lazy bastard! No point to story just in a sharing mood :-).

  4. Just heard in the news that the stupid Japanese government is being criticized by all the neighbouring countries for so selfishly disposing the thousands and tonnes of contaminated water into the ocean. The Japanese actually said that this action was previously discussed and approved by the Americans. Can you guys actually believe such stupidity – on both the Japs and the Americans? Dumping all that contaminated water into the open waters is going to affect all the other countries around the world that consume any forms of seafood. Again, to contradict all those above who do not believe in KARMA – Japan firstly deserves this disaster because of their hostile military actions decades ago. The fact thta they did not handle this disaster responsibly and continued to harm others by disposing of the contaminated waters, means that more Karma will keep coming back to haunt them until the whole Japan sinks to the bottom of the ocean. This is not comments of hatred – just sharing views seen on Yahoo seeing that so many seems to be so humored by Karma Chameleon……hahahahahahah

    1. Sorry, if you want to talk about Karma, then the Karma is on ALL of us since we share the ocean. If you want to believe in Karma this way, then, believe that it’s your Karma that you have to eat these seafood from this contaminated waters. Don’t blame the Japanese, blame you own Karma.

      1. I wasn’t planning on eating any seafood for awhile. How bout you?

      2. I am eating it everyday. In your case better to wear oxygen mask. The air is also contaminated.

    2. If they don’t put it somewhere then where should they put? Unless someone volunteers to drink all of that.

I don’t see how everyday cursing a particular group and wishing them visited by karma isn’t spewing hatred. Look, post all these at those news articles, see their response. Not to say here is all fluff but seriously, we aren’t that serious here.

By your logic, what did Bandar Aceh did so terrible to deserve being wiped off? What did Malaysia did to deserve again the tsunami even if small scale tsunami? China? India? Every country with natural disasters?

Aren’t you tired of saying the same things over and over again? Anyone convinced by your views is probably now wishing you just stop when you were convincing; anything more and next day of you fall down the stairs, can I say that is Karma for the harm you have inflicted on us here?

Enough with the karma nonsense. Next time if you really want to post the same argument again, just post one word, karma and we can all understand your next 20 lines of argument or as you call it, sharing of news.

      1. OK,,,,KARMA – PERIOD…ooops that’s more than one word…..

      2. Oh, forgot to mention. Yes, I think they should have drank the contaminated waters themselves……

      3. Sorry yuaida, but I also believe in karma. However, not in the sense that you are talking about… Do you even understand and know the cycles of karma??

      4. Look, WWII happened more than half a century ago. Most of the people involved are dead and gone by now and the ones that are still alive, well they are now stuck in old folks homes and are just ticking off time before they meet their maker. So just chill with this Japan deserves to sink because of what they did more than 50 years ago. Like you said karma will get to them and they will suffer for it in the Underworld. So why should the current generation who was not part of the war suffer for crimes they did not commit? It’s like asking the son to pay for the sins of the father.

      5. And another thing, 怨怨相报何时了?
The past is the past, learn from it and move forward. Hatred will get you nowhere.

  5. Congrats to Stephanie Sun!! I am glad that she is not hiding her marriage like others. I am guessing that it may have been a simple wedding.I hope that she will share the pictures with the public. At first I thought that her husband was mixed due to his name, but he was adopted… No wonder his last name is not an asian name.

    1. Just found out that he is INdonesian… Congrats to them and may they be happy!

  6. Her name is spelt Stefanie, not Stephanie. 🙂

    Congratulations to her! 🙂

  7. @yuaida

What’s up you? Good grief, your hatred knows no bounds apparently.

  8. It’s not a secret marriage if it’s announced lol

Since she spent such a long time away from the music industry to “rest”, doesn’t surprise me she decided to get hitched.

If she wants four children she’s gotta start now before she gets too old.

Quite happy that Stef has been able to find happiness and keep her life under wraps from the media. I rarely see “gossip” news about her. I respect her a lot for trying to be normal and actually taking breaks to ensure she has a steady life. Unlike HK artists who seem to pump out 3 or 4 albums in one year just to make more money.
