Yoo Ah In Investigated for Use of Illegal Drugs

South Korean actor Yoo Ah In known for his role in Netflix’s Hellbound  is being investigated by local authorities for using the anesthetic drug, propofol. While the news continues to develop, the actor has subsequently been tested positive for marijuana.

According to a major Korean media outlet, the Seoul Police Agency conducted a urine test which tested positive for marijuana use and negative for propofol. Despite the results, toxicology experts explained that marijuana only appears in the result until 7 to 10 days after its use while propofol disappears from the body 3 to 4 days after use.

The result has not cleared Yoo Ah In of suspected propofol abuse; however, it is expected the investigation will be expanded for marijuana abuse.

Yoo Ah In has also conducted a hair test and will receive the result in 10 days.

  1. Another career gone down the drain. I am very concerned for him if he is messing with propofol. That drug is deadly, and should only be administered by a doctor. That was part of the cache of drugs that killed Michael Jackson.
I personally know Asian celebrities, Chinese celebrities who smoke Marijuana. An innocent baby went to a wedding in Taipei with his older, married friend, and he was shined out of his mind. Both him and her were drunk too. This news does not shock me.
