Zhao Lusi and Liu Te are Polar Opposites in “Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling”
Doing what she does best, actress Zhao Lusi (趙露思) returns to playing the sweet heroine in light-hearted Youku romantic comedy, Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling <一不小心撿到愛>. Known to possess great chemistry with all her co-stars, Lusi sprinkles her little magic as always to whip up a warm and fluffy romance alongside actor Liu Te (劉特).
Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling is adapted from the well-known web novel, I Accidentally Picked Up a President <一不小心捡到个总裁>, written by Chun Feng Yi Du (纯风一度). It tells the story of a young and sassy courier Gu Anxin (Lusi) accidentally running into an amnesiac, rich and handsome CEO Ling Yue (Liu Te), and ends up bringing him home. While she initially believes he is a dull and harmless fool, it turns out he is actually an intelligent man capable of driving her to an edge. Later, it is discovered he is the heir of a major corporation and was days away from claiming the family business before the accident.
With the plot sounding awfully similar to popular Taiwanese drama The Prince Who Turns Into A Frog <王子變青蛙>, Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling is undeniably a cliche story that the leads manage to rejuvenate with their chemistry. The first four episodes so far are filled with expected mixes of sweet bickering and emotional scenes. With Anxin and Ling Yue growing up in completely different environments, there are inevitably clashes that make them hate each other. As they spend more time together and grow to better understand each other on a deeper level, the spikes between them will eventually be smoothed.
Rookie actor Liu Te became known through his participation in idol survival show Produce Camp 2019 <創造營2019>. Portraying the arrogant and finicky businessman Mr. Ling, he is challenged to express complex emotions as his character suffers from persecutory delusions and panic attacks.
Another eye-candy is Zhou Junwei (周峻緯), who plays Anxin’s non blood related older brother Gu Ansheng. He gained considerable recognition through his performance as Ruo Yu in Love and Redemption <琉璃>, and fans so far have been enjoying his interactions with Lusi.
