Karena Ng Finds Raymond Lam to Be a Perfect Boyfriend
Despite reports claiming Karena Ng (吳千語) and boyfriend Raymond Lam (林峯) have plans to be married within two years, Raymond denied the rumors citing his busy schedule. Karena also refuted the claims at a promotional event, saying that she has not thought about marriage and hopes for a surprise proposal.
Karena attended a Chow Tai Fook event to promote the jewelry maker’s latest wedding collection today. Karena appeared in an elegant white wedding gown, wearing sparkling earrings and necklace worth over $10 million HKD.
Throughout the event, Karena repeatedly raised her arm to cover her chest. She later explained that she was worried about revealing too much due to the dress’ see-through material. She finds the dress design beautiful but prefers a simpler style. When asked about the perfect marriage proposal, Karena hopes for a surprise. “I’ve never thought about it. It wouldn’t be a surprise if I try to imagine the process. After all, this is a once-in-a-lifetime event.” Karena added that sometimes she would surprise Raymond with gifts, but emphasized that they are usually inexpensive though sentimental.
Karena also quickly denied marriage rumors at the event. When asked if she is ready for Raymond’s proposal, Karena replied, “It won’t happen soon… We’re both busy with work. I have many projects over the next two years. I just hope that after marriage I will be able to have children and build a family, but I will also continue to work on my career.”
Karena was later asked if Raymond would make the perfect husband. Karena reminded reporters that he is not her husband, but deserves 100 points as a boyfriend. Since Raymond is currently in China busy filming for the 3D wuxia drama Lu Xiaofeng and Hua Manlou <陸小鳳與花滿樓>, Karena hopes that the two can spend quality time together after Raymond returns to Hong Kong.

Time will tell if they last or not, but the whole point of a relationship is to see if it works out, no? If they don’t try, they’ll never know. I personally don’t think that you can truly understand a person when dating for just a year. But then again, it varies.. For some people, you can know each other well in a few months,but there are some that you can know for years and years and even for your whole life and not know them that well.

I mean, I feel its not always about the money. Some women prefer older men because they lacked a father figure while growing up, some prefer older men because of their maturity in their thoughts and these older men have had life experiences that contribute to their personality making them charming, witty, humorous and insightful, but they may not be all rich.
