New Shaw Brothers Drama to Star Chilam Cheung, Bosco Wong, Moses Chan, and Vincent Wong

Chilam Cheung (張智霖) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) will be teaming up with TV Kings Moses Chan (陳豪) and Vincent Wong (王浩信) for a new Shaw Brothers exclusive written by Chan Sap-sam (陳十三), best known for his work on the My Date with a Vampire <我和殭屍有個約會> series.

The Shaw Brothers web drama, titled The Extraordinary Three <非凡三俠>, is a crime thriller that tells the story of how three unlikely strangers come together to piece together a mystery that leaves their faiths intertwined.

The drama will feature many familiar faces, including Chrissie Chau (周秀娜), Samantha Ko (高海寧), Michael Wong (王敏德), James Ng (吳業坤), and Come Home Love <愛回家> star Mark Ma (馬貫東).

Chilam stars as a struggling fiction writer who is living paycheck by paycheck, while Bosco plays a stuntman who is “strong but feeble.” Chrissie plays an undercover agent who takes on the identity of a tour guide to protect Chilam and Bosco. Moses stars as a retired bar owner with a “complicated background”, and Vincent plays a “kindhearted thief.” Vincent remarked that his role is actually one of his most complicated characters to portray, with a lot of action scenes.

The Extraordinary Three will feature only six episodes. Principal photography has already commenced in Malaysia.

    1. @sherla1019 I actually like Vincent W. haha lol…. He’s one of those that still looks cute & handsome and still looking YOUNG?haha…. Chrissie Chau (周秀娜), Samantha Ko (高海寧) I am excited to see both of them.

  2. Might watch for Vincent and Chilam… Moses is tolerable, but the rest of the cast pales in comparison, especially the women.

    Chrissy and Samantha? Really?? -_-

    1. @oystergirl Other than Annie Liu once, I don’t think the recent Shaw Brothers dramas have ever had a strong female cast. Certainly not for the Flying Tiger ones.

  3. I’m a little confused here is Shaw Brothers are the same company as tvb? If not how come some tvb artists joining them? Even though they still have contracts with tvb?
