Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu to Tug Heartstrings in “Till The End of the Moon”

Leo Luo Yunxi (罗云熙) and Bai Lu (白鹿) together can create a fireworks bonanza. After leaving viewers rolling in laughter in modern romcom Love is Sweet <半是蜜糖半是伤>, the duo are back for a second collaboration in upcoming xianxia romance Till The End of the Moon <月照千峰为一人>.

The first script reading, make-up and costume preview were held on October 8, and the booting ceremony is scheduled on October 29.

Last week, Bai Lu and the cast walked the red carpet to promote Till The End of the Moon in Hengdian, but Yunxi was presumably absent because he had suffered a facial injury while wrapping up filming for The Light of Life <追光者> in mid October.

Since breaking out with his performance in Ashes of Love <香蜜沉沉烬如霜>, Yunxi has been diversifying his roles but is most loved for his ethereal beauty in historical projects. The actor is expected to deliver a remarkable performance as a cruel demon king with a bloodthirsty nature, while Bai Lu will play an innocent and kind-hearted fairy.

Unlike their previous light-hearted drama, Till the End of the Moon is heavier in plot and filled with angsty romance as it is expected to follow the original xianxia novel by Teng Luo Wei Zhi (藤蘿為枝).

Supporting actors also helping build anticipation for the drama include: SNH48 member Sun Zhenni (孙珍妮), Ashes of Love actress Wang Yifei (王一菲), and rookie Deng Wei (邓为). Their young and prominent facial features are fitting to cultivate the divine atmosphere in the xianxia world.

Additionally, the costume and soundtrack team have previously worked on Immortality <皓衣行>. While the historical BL drama has yet to be released, the main stylist Zeng Minghui (曾明辉) is known for his black and white styling themes, which create dark but mesmerizing vibes.
