Topping the list of Chinese Celebrities with the most number of commercial endorsements, actress Dilreba Dimurat (迪麗熱巴) is loved by brands for looking gorgeous from every angle, lack of rumors and international appeal.
Dilreba Has Endorsements From Head to Toe
The 30-year-old Xinjiang native’s strong performance on the drama front – she amassed a combined 7.3 billion viewership for The Long Ballad <長歌行> and You Are My Glory <你是我的榮耀>, putting her ahead of ratings queens Yang Mi (楊冪) and Zanilia Zhao (趙麗穎). Her performance in The Long Ballad also nabbed a nomination at the 16th Seoul film festival while she is also in the running for best global actress at the International Iconic Awards 2022, making her even more attractive to brand marketers. Though her upcoming drama Legend of Anle <安樂傳> in which she pairs with actor Gong Jun (龔俊) has yet to confirm its date of premier, 1.5 million have already signed onto the drama preview to catch the two’s sizzling sparks.
Close behind with 25 brand endorsements is 22-year-old Nana Ouyang (歐陽娜娜), a brand favorite thanks to her youthful and vivacious image, while Yang Mi, whose refined face, signature chopstick legs and steady popularity make her a darling of high-end fashion and cosmetic brands including Michael Kors and Versace, is close behind with 23 endorsements. Taking fourth and fifth place are Guan Xiaotong (關曉彤) – 20 and Bai Lu (白鹿) – 17.
Uprising Stars Pose Stiff Competition
Surprisingly, actress Yang Zi (楊紫) whose popularity is on par with Dilreba, and has also starred in several hit dramas in recent years trails far behind with just 8 brand endorsements to her name, while well-known actress Zanilia Zhao too has only 9 endorsements, paling in comparison to younger stars Rosy Zhao Lusi (趙露思) and Yang Chaoyue (楊超越), who hold 10 and 11 endorsements respectively. Both in their early twenties, the former’s soaring popularity thanks to well-received drama Who Rules the World <且試天下> has snagged her 10 endorsements while Yang Chaoyue’s frequent exposure on variety shows has made her the face of 11 brands, despite entering the industry for a short four years.
While Xiao Zhan (肖戰) trails behind with 27 endorsements, rumor have it that brands are wary of engaging the star due to his fanbase who constantly court attention, which led them to turn to Wang Yibo instead. At third place is Simon Gong Jun (龔俊) with 21 endorsements, whose popularity is fast-rising due to the resounding success of popular BL-themed drama Word of Honor <山河令>.
