From Sexy Goddesses to Pop Queens, Here Are Show Lo’s Nine Rumored Girlfriends

Grace Chow’s (周揚青) public essay accusing Show Lo (羅志祥) of infidelity is currently the talk of the town, and Show’s image—known for his relatable personality and for being Taiwan’s dance king—is taking a huge dip.

From his 1994 debut till now, Show—aka Xiao Zhu—has only had two publicly known girlfriends—Yuki Hsu and Grace Chow. Grace’s accusations of Show’s infidelity—and Show’s subsequent apology—has shocked his many fans and the media. In retrospect, it isn’t a surprise to see why Show has had so many rumored girlfriends over his two-decade long career. From sexy goddesses to pop queens, here are nine artistes whom Show had dating rumors with over the years.

Yuki Hsu (徐懷鈺)

While speaking about his past relations with Xiao S on her talk show, Show revealed that he had a brief romance with Taiwanese singer-actress Yuki Hsu. He said, “It was just love. Pure love, not the kind of love you guys are thinking about.” He claimed that he was Yuki’s first love, but she wasn’t his. Yuki Hsu was his first publicly confirmed ex-girlfriend after his debut. Show said their relationship only lasted seven days.

Makiyo

In 2002, Show had dating rumors with Japanese-Taiwanese television host Makiyo, but Show never admitted to the relationship. Years later, Show’s Four Best Born (四大天王) bandmate Eddy Ou (歐漢聲) shared on a talk show that he had contemplated suicide after his girlfriend left him for his best friend. Eddy never revealed their names, but it was assumed he was talking about Show and Makiyo. According to reports, Makiyo and Show broke up after two years of dating—it was allegedly because Makiyo found Show too controlling.

S.H.E’s Selina Jen (任家萱)

In 2005, there were rumors that Show and Selina had been dating “for a while”, but because they were idols, they had to keep their relationship underground. The two had always referred to each other as “good friends” in public. The following year, it was reported that they had broken up, but the two remained good friends.

Rainie Yang (楊丞琳)

Dating rumors between Show and Rainie started in 2007. Two years later, dating rumors intensified after the two collaborated in the drama Hi My Sweetheart <海派甜心>, but rumors eventually phased out after the two confirmed having their own partners.

Tia Lee (李毓芬)

In 2008, Show and Tia became friends after collaborating in a commercial film. Paparazzi had photo evidence of Tia spending days at Show’s house, and the both of them were photographed wearing matching clothes and items in public. Despite the evidence, they denied dating. Dating speculations stopped after Tia and Kai Ko (柯震東) were confirmed to be an item.

Ruby Lin (林心如)

In 2014, Show was photographed—twice—driving to Ruby’s residence. At the time, the media referred to them as the “Zhu Xin Romance” (aka “Pig Heart Romance”). The two never admitted to be in a relationship. Ruby even found the rumors funny, saying, “I don’t eat intestines.”

Amber An (安心亞)

In 2010, paparazzi snapped photos of Amber stopping at Show’s residence during her morning jog. Dating rumors immediately circulated, but both parties had said they were not close. Show even expressed anger, and implied that Amber had called the paps on herself. The both of them refused to acknowledge each other in public, but eventually warmed up to each other again after collaborating in a dance song.

Linda Chien (簡愷樂)

Show and Linda’s rumors came about in 2014, while hosting 100% Entertainment <娛樂百分百> together. Show was already dating Grace at the time. Show and Linda were even photographed wearing similar items, but the two denied dating.

Jolin Tsai (蔡依林)

As dance queen and king of Taiwan, Jolin and Show have a lot of followers and shippers. But during a fan meeting, Jolin admitted that Show was not her type. “Not at all,” she had said. “Xiao Zhu is a good friend. It is better for us to stay as friends than to become lovers.”
