Disney+’s South Korean drama “Soundtrack #1” explores the pains and frustration of unrequited love between two long-time friends played by Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik. Although the drama only has four episodes, it is praised by netizens for its sentimental and moving dialogues.

The drama follows songwriter Lee Sun Soo (Han So Hee) who is struggling with finding the right words to finish her love song. Unbeknown to Lee Sun Soo, Han Sun Woo had always been in love with Lee Sun Soo and is set on keeping his unrequited love a secret.

Over the course of the two weeks, it becomes evident that the two friends have feelings for each but neither dares to make the first step in fear of losing their friendship. When Han Sun Woo suddenly announces that he is moving to the abroad for work, he chooses to keep his feelings a secret and leaves without confessing to his childhood friend. Meanwhile, Lee Sun Soo breaks down crying by herself and realizes the real reason why her heart is in pain.

Many netizens are praising Han So Hee for showcasing her charms while wearing a variety of outfits ranging from school uniforms, office attires or casual sweaters. In addition, the drama’s OST is gaining attention for its beautiful lyrics and melody that express the bittersweet feelings of unrequited love.
