According to one of his classmates, Xiaoming used to be very popular among the female students. While many boys his age preferred hanging out with their own male friends, Xiaoming often mingled with the girls. The classmate also said Xiaoming was a pretty boy, and always carried a mirror and a comb with him. Xiaoming often brought them to class.

This isn’t exactly new information, as Xiaoming himself have said that he used to be “surrounded” by girls when he was in high school.
