IU and Lee Jong Suk End Their Four Years Relationship

Celebrity couple IU and Lee Jong Suk have confirmed that their four-year relationship has come to an end. The couple cited their busy schedule as the reason for their split and agreed to remain as colleagues.

The two artistes have had a busy acting career in recent years which impacted their relationship. A source close to the couple shared, “Due to their extremely busy schedules, they saw each other less and less, and ultimately decided to return to being friends.

The announcement has surprised the industry given that the couple’s long history. IU and Lee Jong Suk first met each other in 2012 while working as MCs on SBS’s Inkigayo. After getting to know each other for nearly 10 years, they officially became a couple in 2022. Although the relationship has come to an end, the two will continue to support each other.
