Linda Chung Injured During Explosion Scene in “Tiger Cubs 2”
The filming process of TVB’s action-packed drama, Tiger Cubs 2 <飛虎 II>, has been nothing but rough. Earlier, Him Law (羅仲謙) and Grace Wong (王君馨) already hurt themselves from shooting intense scenes. While filming in Tuen Mun yesterday, Joe Ma (馬德鐘) and Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) also experienced injuries during an explosion scene, in which Linda fell to the ground and severely scraped her hand. Joe was a little better off than Linda, but still suffer injuries on the arms and legs due to an unexpected somersault during the accident.
In the scene, Nancy Wu (胡定欣) held Linda captive, while Joe rushed to save her. He picked up Linda and ran from the site of explosion. However, Joe happened to lose his balance after taking a couple steps, and sent the two sprawling to the ground. Linda’s left hand hit the cement hard, and piece of her flesh was scraped off. In addition, she hurt her pelvis during the fall.
The crew surrounded Linda and helped her clean her wound with water. Although Linda was in great pain and could not hold back her tears, she did not forget to ask how Joe was doing. Producer Lam Chi Wah (林志華) immediately paused the filming and told Linda and Joe to take a break in the van. They were also told to quickly see a doctor after the day’s work is complete. When Linda was asked if she is scared and can endure the pain, she nodded with red eyes.
On the other hand, Joe’s arm was wrapped with cloth. He reported, “My shoulders kind of hurt, because I lost balance during the explosion and tilted forward. My apologies. I should say sorry to Linda first.”
Nancy, who had been busy comforting Linda, expressed, “Accidents cannot be avoided. Safety precautions have already been taken. Linda is fine now, but it’s just that everything happened in a sudden. The most important thing is she didn’t hurt her bones. It was just a scare.”
After taking care of her wounds at emergency room, Linda posted a photo of her smiling self on Weibo to reassure worried fans. She wrote, “Don’t worry, everybody. I’m okay! I’ll recover quickly.”
Today, Linda flew to Fuzhou to appear at a previously arranged skincare endorsement event. Both of Linda’s hands were wrapped in white gauze due to her injury from the set of Tiger Cubs 2.

Poor Linda Chung who got injured during the filming of the last scene in “Tiger Cubs 2”. Linda, have a speedy recovery. Same applies to Joe Ma.
It must be a serious and painful injury because Linda shed tears. Poor baby.
It’s too painful to watch u in pain. I’m glad u are ok. Take care and recover soon. Kudos to both for continuing to finish filming the scene again even though they are in pain.

This is just funny! She could have had a concussion! A torn whatever! And so the director nicely told them to rest in the van (how considerate!) and to see a doctor after work is complete which could take hours (wow how nice eh?). She didn’t hurt her hand or leg she hurt her “left hand hit the cement hard, and piece of her flesh was scraped off. In addition, she hurt her pelvis during the fall.”. Shouldn’t she immediately be driven to the hospital for a checkup OR since filming a series with so many explosions scene, shouldn’t TVB hire an on set doctor? Even if she insists, we are talking about hand, feet and pelvis and possibly even head.

Seriously? Joe Ma better hit the gym and hard! Linda weighs about 30lbs and Joe Ma lost his balance whilst carrying Linda?? poor form Joe, get well soon Linda.
I think Joe is having difficulty because he’s injured. If a thin guy like Bosco seem to carry Linda easily I think Linda shouldn’t pose a problem to huge and tall Joe Ma. Ruco also doesn’t seem to have problem carrying Linda.

Nahh not really it’s just a typical saving Linda method. Linda is always being picked up by her male lead in princess style for a run to safety in her latest series. From WI to BK to now TC2.
A lot of injuries filming recently. Someone needs to look into this before it gets really serious.
