Linda Chung to Release New Song

Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) has not released a new song since 2016 after leaving for Vancouver to start her journey in motherhood. Today, she surprised fans and revealed the name of her new song, “Mommy I Love You So” <做你的晨曦>.

Her company has been dropping teasers of the melody and lyrics, and fans are extremely excited to hear the rest.

She also posted two photos: a drawing of 14 butterflies and a portrait of herself drawn by her cousin. Linda has always loved butterflies, frequently wearing different butterfly shaped accessories. For her wedding, she had ordered customized butterfly themed wedding invitations and wedding shoes. She described that butterflies represent change, happiness, and freedom. When she sees butterflies dancing in the air freely, it is a reminder to not be stubborn and enjoy the happiness that life brings.

Linda disclosed that this is her first time composing, producing, and writing the lyrics to a song. This new song was written for her daughter Kelly, and Linda considers it the most important song of her life.

Overflowing with love for her daughter, Linda also composed a song when her daughter was eight months old and named it “When Mommy Wakes Up in the Morning, She Looks at Me” <媽咪晨早起身就望住我>.

she can actually sing better than she acts. 20 for singing, -100+ for acting
