“Line Walker” Spoilers: Character Deaths Break Records

After much anticipation, the fifth undercover cop in Line Walker <使徒行者> was finally revealed last week. Originally, Benz Hui (許紹雄) was the most popular guess, but it turns out that the real undercover was Samantha Ko (高海寧).

Death Toll Breaks Record

Before Samantha revealed herself as the real undercover, Raymond Lam (林峯), Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) teamed up with Benz, who had plans to surrender himself once the case closes, to take down true leader behind the powerful triads. Unfortunately, under Samantha’s commands, Benz was held at gunpoint and ultimately shot himself using Raymond’s gun. Not long afterwards, the members of the triad killed all three of Charmaine’s mothers.

According to leaked details, Charmaine, Samantha Ko, Oscar Leung (梁烈唯), and Sammy Sum (沈震軒) will not live to see the end. Line Walker’s character death toll will break records. Producer Man Wai Hung (文偉鴻), disclosed, “There are a lot of rumors in the air lately. I can only say that there will be more than one death in the finale.”

Man Wai Hung also added that there is in fact a sixth undercover in the series. Some viewers exclaimed that Sharon Chan (陳敏之) is technically the sixth person since she joined Michael’s team in the middle of the case.

Bad Cop, Good Cop?

Although Michael Miu (苗僑偉) was the good cop since the beginning of the series, some viewers wondered if he may be a mole. Creating even more confusion, the preview for this week’s episode showed Michael using Charmaine as hostage and holding a gun to Raymond’s head. In the opening credits, Michael was seen getting ready to shoot Sharon Chan (陳敏之). After claiming that he would uproot the entire triad and black cops organization, will Michael turn against his original intentions?

Boss of the Boss

Despite disclosing her true identity, it is revealed that Samantha had already joined the dark side in the midst of her undercover cop days and is just playing along with Michael and Raymond’s game. She disclosed that there were four powerful figures behind the Mr. Song identity including, Stefan Wong (黃長興), Law Lok Lam (羅樂林), Esther Wan (溫裕紅), and Joseph Yeung (楊瑞麟). Unknown to the undercover police team, there is a bigger power behind those four – a final boss they must defeat. It is speculated that Chung King Fai (鍾景輝) is the final boss behind the terrifying organization.

The finale of Line Walker will be aired on Friday, October. During its broadcast, viewers will be able to vote for a tragic conclusion for Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam, or decide the lovers should have a happy ending.

  1. Wow it sounds so intense! And I want them the have happy ending! 🙁

  2. Oh no, Sharon lives? Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Hated the scene where the 3 moms died and Bao Seed’s reaction when seeing Samantha aka Miss Lam who shrugged it off as saying I had no choice. Bao Seed should have slapped her and scream his Raymond trademark scream, NO CHOICE?! I suppose that will be Charmaine’s scene where her screech will reach ultimate high. I hope she slaps the hell out of Miss Lam. Ridiculous moment on revealing Miss Lam as UC suddenly oh ok, to hell with shooting the 3 moms, because you’re UC, that justifies EVERYTHING. Rubbish.

    1. If they all die that will minimise the potential of a sequel with same actors, different characters.

But this series shows, life of a UC is great!

    2. i think samantha pretends still being an uc but actually she works for the bigg boss and so she has revealed all the uc idendities to the big boss.thats why in the begin scenes lam fung and charmaine have to run for their lifes.

      1. and i think michael miu doesnt turn villain, but it is a plan to protect the uc and find the ultimate boss.

  3. This is seriously getting more and more OTT! Bump up the body count and there you’ve got yourself a classic cop series….NOT!

  4. My intuitions are telling me that samantha ko has already turned bad and is lying to the uc’s. Otherwise, she would’ve stopped the men from killing the 3 mothers

    1. she was smiling when bao seed faked happy gor’s death by shooting him and burying him. can’t be that good.

  5. Isn’t there going to be a vote for which finale ending TVB will show, soon?

  6. A very memorable role for LF!
    Happy ending please!
    ❤️ LF Love FUNG!

    1. Raymond Lam acted very well in “Line Walker”. After being “chok fung” for a while, Bao Seed is Raymond’s memorable role.

      1. Actually I think it should be “after giving “chok fung” for a while”. Both of Jazz Boon (the producer) and LF said the same thing.

      2. Good performances by LF , but if you say Chok, cheuk hoi are definately more Chok than pao seed

      3. LOL sandcherry!! He looks Chok while attacking the triad and the gangsters.

Not much difference from his past Chok roles.

And his crying parts don’t convey too much sadness or regret.

  7. hope charmaine won’t die 🙁 hope for a happy ending to this amazing series 🙂

  8. i just hope Michael Miu stays a good cop , i also hope he stays alive until the end
when will the final episode air for the audience over seas to watch ?

  9. I read previously somewhere that the producers was considering making a second series of this drama depending on viewers response, but there’s no point in doing so if they’re killing off many main/supporting characters

    1. To be honest, as much as I love this drama, I don’t really see the point to make a sequel. I don’t mean it a “The sequel will never be as good as the original”, but I truly meant… this is not the kind of drama that is suitable to have a sequel, because there’s simply no point.

    2. Tough to have a sequel.

They will do better if they filmed another drama, just like how Uncle Ray said it.

And since I mentioned Uncle Ray, I should also say he left TVB. What’s a sequel without Uncle Ray?

    3. the only good sequel i can name is rosy business two. two was just as good as one.

      1. But they were two totally different stories for “Rosy Business”. One was ancient and one was Republican Era, and they were two different scripts. In fact, I liked “No Regret” more than “Rosy Business” ………….. better acting, better storyline.

      2. Exactly like how she pointed out above. Usually sequels are worse than the initial dramas.

I can’t name any sequels that were as good as the first ones.. Let’s see if Tiger Cubs (is that the English name of the drama??) can break that idea.

  10. Woww least now I expect Cheuk Hoi gonna b the last UC to take out d BIBBIG BOSS huh! Bring it on TVBBBBBBB!!!

  11. this is getting so confusing! so many identities and characters being revealed! hope the ending doesn’t disappoint!

    1. This is getting to be ridiculous – first Benz is the BIG BOSS.. then not really. Samantha Ko is the big boss – then no quite – behind there is another 4 BIGGER BOSSES.

ANd now ohhhh there is one mega big boss at the back.

Wait we know you want more…

  12. seriously??? this getting confusing!!!!! i don’t even get what they are supposed to be talking about in the film!!!!!!!!! (very confused) !!!!~~~~~

  13. Three people were taking to hospital and died but Bao Seed could walk away ????? No investigation from police ?????

    1. exactly!! the two moms oould have kept running after one was shot and raymond was the one with four guns pointed to his head yet still stayed alive….makes no sense at all.

      1. I know!!!! At least 2 could’ve gone away IMO…….

        And yes, no investigation asked.

I suppose the murderers and Uncle Ray fled the scene and then called police.

But then again, it doesn’t make sense because the mothers were taken to the emergency room and were in the process of trying to be revived (i.e. Performing CPR).

That kinda implies that they were found alive (or not dead yet) by the police.

By that’s another mystery within itself.

Why would the police even find their bodies in the first place?? How did Uncle Ray have the chance to call the police to get them to medical help?

        Doesn’t make sense.

      2. I’m not really into watching this so can i ask why didn’t those guys just kill Raymond when they all had guns pointed at his head?

      3. Because Lam Hei Wei wants to keep him and there are 6 more episodes till the end.

      4. psst, because he is useful and those guns are merely to stop him from doing something stupid that will get himself killed.

      5. Incredibly silly plot lmao!! They should’hv put 4 bullets in his head, one from each guy pointing a gun at him! Now that would be memorable with one more dead body for episode 25!

      6. @psst

The plot is not realistic. I guess that’s why Hong Kongers and other viewers like it. It’s something we don’t see in real life (hopefully).

      7. Hi Andrew, I thought HKers are the ones who complain about every little thing from tvb? I’m surprised that there’s no report of any complaints pertaining to this drama. I would think a large number of people would complain about the violence and illogical plot etc. A case of double standards from the media?

      8. Exactly @omg

I’m surprised there are no complaints (well except for that scene where Fing kicks burst seed like 10 feet away (??) ).

I guess there is a double standard but it can also be people focusing on the riots these past few days and forgot to complain lol

      9. So you complained that HKers complained too much but when the audience enjoy the series as much as they forget to complain, you miss them.

      10. I don’t think that’s the case. I’m sure it has its fair share of complaints but just that it wasn’t highlighted somehow. The hk media isn’t exactly impartial.

      11. Lolz, we dont see any complaint so perhaps it means there was no complaint. Why TVB has to prioritize LW to request media to report nothing about its complaints? Even the anniversary series do not have that treatments. LW is not really favoured that much by TVB.

Why dont you say that LW can get over 1 billion views in China (according to the information of Vlink) because of double standard treatment? If you say TVB promotes LW, may I ask you that ROE has 800k++ views in China to rank in the second due to which treatment? I know you will feel happy to hear that information.

HKers like LW, proving by its rating and noises. Despite the plot holes, it is still a good series in their eyes. Therefore, maybe they dont want to complain about some tiny things.

      12. My comment is awaiting moderation but Im not sure why. So when we are wating for it, I will summarize my comment in short: we dont see any complaint so perhaps it means there was no complaint.

      13. There are faults on script but the script isnt that illogic. Actually Comparing to all series I watched partly (cant finish any due to problems of scriptoàn diện/or acting), LW has acceptable script. Moreover, most provide good acting. So it is reasonable for it to be liked, Not only in HK but also China. I assume that you havent watched LW due to your last comment, therefore you have no idea why ppl like it. Of course, there are ppl who dislike it for this and that reason but the majority like it. That’s why it is popular. So dont feel upset when it is popular without any artist you like.

        It doesn’t have special treatment.

      14. “Line Walker” is popular because of acting. We could watch 1st class acting in this drama series from all lead artistes. I agree that the plots and developments are not very logical, but people in Hong Kong like lots of climax and this drama series does provide tons of climax.

I just enjoyed this drama for the fantastic acting of Charmaine, Raymond, Benz, Michael, Sammy, Elena, etc. We cannot expect very good scripts from TVB these days.

      15. Yes @omg.

The violence in this drama is one of the worse I’ve seen in a long time. Especially in the scene where the mothers got murdered. And yet there are no complaints.

Maybe there were complaints but the media just “swept in under the rug”? Who knows?

      16. @sandcherry: And that’s why ep 25 on last Friday received that many of praises for the acting of both LF and Charmaine. LW has the quality acting and the script did not bad at all. In other word, it is famous for reasons and in this case, acting is the main reason.

      17. @omg

Haha, yes!! I don’t remember his dramas receiving too much complaints, neither Highs and Lows.

The complaints are “swept under the rug.”

  14. I am not interested to watch already. Getting more ridiculous! Also so many ppl dying. Why TVB show has to have such drastic story line..

  15. Really wanna see if Michael is a good cop or bad probably bad Michael mui is has really good acting skills

      1. Michael mui is never promoted unlike Wayne the over promoted tv boring ki ng

      2. Of course not. Michael Miu has a lot of money himself. He does not need to film TVB drama series one after another. How would TVB promote him?

      3. Was hoping this will end like taken where the ucs are taken as hostage and michael kills absolutly everyone to save them. Then that will be the end of it.

      4. Wayne is not overly promoted, Raymond is the one who is overly promoted that is bad in acting

    1. michael miu can not be the big boss, because in the opening song mv you see him receive some kind of honour. and i cant remember i have seen that scene before in previuos episode.

      1. i feel like it’s going to b one of those stories where michael (pretends to) turn his back on everyone and does something “bad” in order to save them…sort of like in highs and lows…

  16. This drama is actually REALLY GOOD compared to what TVB has been letting out lately. Seriously hope the ending wouldn’t disappoint.

  17. Uncle Ray tries to look handsome here but his wrinkles are hard to ignore……

  18. Michael Mui Cheuk Sir is good cop, the bad cop thing is a ploy to get to mr Sung.

go back to episode 1, there is scene where Cheuk Sir is actually ordering back up police Tiger squad to help Raymond and Charmaine to escape from the triads…
    this series is great.
3 good series this year, M-Club, black heart white soul and line walker

  19. It’s just a so-so series but b/c so many bad to worse dramas one after another, this one is surprisingly fast paced to get thru is all. I wouldn’t say it was good or great but passable.
I esp never like snake woman or uncle Raymond.
I like Michael miu and I love the COP who went to jail and came back for the character the most.

  20. what in the world i watch today’s episode and at the end of the preview it showed that 60% of the viewers voted for the sad ending really guys REALLY

    1. WTF !?!? Really? Hong Kongers want to be more depressed after witnessing all those protests LOL

      1. Well I don know if the pole would change the others fate but at LEAST for Christ sake give Raymond and Charmaine a happy ending

      2. Yes, voting for a tragic ending.

If they do get their wish and everybody does in the drama, they will then said the ending is too sad and too many people died.

        LOL!!

  21. just stop killing the good guys.. already had to go through a couple of innocent ones … I surely don’t have good vibe on Samantha and Michael near end of the serie hope im wrong, such an intense and good drama this was!

  22. I think “Line Walker” should have ended after 25 episodes. It would be a more interesting series.

  23. if Michael is a bad cop and either charmaine or raymond dies, I would vote this series a biggest waste of my time

  24. Indeed, this drama has many points which is not realistic.

Unless it’s part of the plot, I don’t see how uncle Ray suddenly turned semi-bad and captured the 3 criminals. He was telling Charmaine that she is a cop and needs to be wake up from sadness but he suddenly turns from a determined undercover into a ground-judge. Lol

    1. Agree, but I watched this drama series for acting, not for storyline. The storyline of TVB drama series is never that good anyway, especially police/crime series.

      1. If storyline sux, can’t be salvaged by good acting. Similarly if acting sux, can’t be salvaged by good storyline.

  25. How can Michael Miu be a bad cop after all the heartbreaking scenes earlier in the story? The sudden character change reduced his perfect acting to plain ridiculous and even to the level of ‘overacting’. Didn’t do him any justice. What was a really good drama went downhill from the time Samantha Ko came on board. Now that all the baddies know who the UCs are (Michael Miu even went screaming at Raymond opening at the Triad’s office) and nobody is after them. Doesn’t make sense. And for Sammy Sum’s tumor? Worse plot twist ever.

    1. Totally agree. I felt the same ………… too many loose ends and unreasonable plots and twists. I don’t know why TVB scriptwriters always like to make their scripts so ridiculously illogical. They tend to spoil all the TVB drama series even the artistes have done their best in acting.

      1. yarh.. i thot michael miu did such a good job.. den suddenly.. all that he did was FAKE.. huh? lost me there.

    2. should hv just ended the series at ep.25 after foon hei died…

    3. our only hope now is that Michael Miu is actually an undercover cos he found out that there’s a bigger boss than the four! *fingers crossed!

  26. THEY LET US VOTE FOR
    * A SAD ENDING
    * E HAPPY ENDING..

    SHUCKS.. WE GOT NEITHER
WHAT WE ‘LL GET IS A VERY STOOPID ENDING.

  27. hehe somehow i feel there is going to be a 6th UC..aaaaand that UC is Toby Leung.

Just a gut feel – see if i am right or not. I dunno.. just a flash from a scene in a very early episode maybe 12 or 13 where she was briefly following MMiu.

  28. Great build-up but last five episodes were ******. Seemed rushed and too much going on at once.

  29. It’s just funny how Hung Ying heads have no one following them at all. Like how easily Lam Fung gets slashed by other gangs, how he always meet Cheuk Oi without suspicion, or worse, the part where Cheuk Sir went to Hung Ying HQ but the place had no one at all except LF. I mean he didn’t expect Cheuk Sir so he shouldn’t have told them to go away. But most importantly, being the head of Hung Ying, shouldn’t he have followers everywhere? Isn’t Hung Ying supposedly a very big and dangerous gang?! Lol

    1. There were some people working for him but yeah, no followers. FH and the other guy who died in episode 7 (or 8) had some guys following him.

I know, the plot is so unrealistic LMAO

  30. What a ridiculous ending! Indeed what I said – tiger head, snake tail ending.

    *spoiler alert*

    1. How on earth did King Sir or the other people not confirm whether the UCs died? So far-fetched how Michael Miu could’ve fooled them that easily.

    2. No mentioning of who sent Foon Hei as the UC.

    3. If Hong Sir was killed by King Sir and that dude, does that mean Foon Hei did not kill the dude in episode 7-8?? If so, does it mean King Sir did??

    4. Uncle Ray and Charmaine had intercourse on the ambulance? LMAO!! They got injured and was wrapped like a mummy and they were still capable!? LMAO!!

    5. No explaining of how Yan knew Kobe died. She just saw the video and knew that that’s a cemetery(?) and hence knew he died?? Confusing.

    6. Michael Miu was the most justice guy in the whole series and he ends up in jail!? He didn’t deserve that.

    7. FOON HEI IS A UNDERCOVER. The bad things he did earlier in the beginning MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. No explanation as to his motives AND WHO DELETED HIS RECORDS ON THE COMPUTER. Lol, Michael Miu could’ve easily checked (if he had the access) Foon Hei’s UC status.

    8. The four bad guys did not mention King Sir at any point in the series (no mention he was the big boss). What role did he play in the whole evil scheme then? Didn’t Mr. pong say if the other any of the members are missing, the other will take their share? If so, why wasn’t King Sir given any of the money???

    9. As much as I liked seeing Uncle Ray fight, how he suffered so much attacks; one against dozens of people is so unrealistic.

    10. How does Uncle Ray have so many beautiful clothes to wear LOL? He is a gangster but doesn’t look like one (tuxedo!?!)

    11. Lastly, I still make no sense on how Ray turned from good to semi-bad. He was sad when he witnessed the three mothers die but.. I don’t notice any point in the drama where he had a change in personality. Where was the tipping point for him to kidnap the other gold members??

In the earlier episodes in the series, he didn’t display a rash personality at all. WTH that he started becoming a ground judge and tried to open fire on King Sir!?!? Not convincing for me.

    1. Typos:

      9. Uncle Ray survived the attacks not suffered. And I can’t but reemphasize, the wrinkles near his eyes and cheek is hard to ignore….. Who did the lighting for him?

As for the rash personality part, he was so calm in telling Charmaine she is a cop but he started kidnapping people??

      1. It was revealed at the end of the drama. There was a 5 sec screenshot of his records being erased.

I have a feeling that was a last minute throw-in. I mean the drama DID NOT explain his status at all and why did he turn from good to bad in the beginning. At least they could’ve went more in depth for that part.

Since they didn’t explain it all, it didn’t make sense. Viewers are just inferring he turned from good to bad and then back to good. Maybe he was bad all along? Maybe he didn’t kill that dude who got in his way? He also killed the Thailand druglord (well set him up) and was that part of his plan or was it a selfish-revengeful act??

There are still many questions up in the air.

      2. Oh you mean that? Yeap you are right. It was an afterthought that like the series made no sense and is just a sellout. Worst series of the year for the mess it became.

      3. worse than the current series which is also airing right now, the medicine show?
that you spend so many hours writing review and now i dont read a single word…. hahaha right

      4. ITA with funn. The melodrama and sexx parts were absolutely unnecessary. Hello this is supposed to be cop drama!

    2. ewwww “4. Uncle Ray and Charmaine had intercourse on the ambulance? LMAO!! They got injured and was wrapped like a mummy and they were still capable!? LMAO!!”

Why is there a need for so much gratuitous s-ex in this drama?

      1. I think. The director really didn’t need to add so much kissing scenes plus that dreadful subsong. The series had potential to be even more suspenseful and thrilling but the love scenes were a little too much.

    3. let me try to answer your questions…

      1. ray & charmaine was “shot” and michael miu was clever enough to bomb the whole place….i believe no one (king sir) is stupid enough to go put out the huge fire and go inside to search for bodies while someone must have heard and called the police already (one of the police said there were 6 “burnt bodies” found inside) As for those “killed and dumped to sea”… again you will need special equipment to go diving….

      2. the Foon Hei part at the end could possibly be added in since there was so much hype by the public about him being a UC…or it could be a preview to a sequel.

      3. “that dude” was killed by an explosion, not directly by Foon Hei..as for who, it could be anyone…since there was a high money reward for whoever kills that guy

      4. that scene was for a funny ending…don’t take that seriously

      5. Yan probably knew because she recognizes that place where Kobe let go of the balloons…they have been there many times….and if Kobe came back to hk, he must have been healed and would definitely find her again….but Kobe didnt….so he must be dead

      6. yea he doesnt deserve that….but micheal is the one that shot king sir…and since king sir has no weapons on him..that is illegal shooting…so he has to go to jail.

      7. if michael had access to deleted UC’s files….then this drama is entirely not necessary…LOL

      8. king sir wanted the four bad guys’ company..so he wanted to get rid of the four bad guys….king sir was not part of the company previously…also explains his killing of samantha and pong

      9. if you talk about unrealistic fights…then many movies are unrealistic..e.g. jackie chan, jet li..etc..get kicked in head numerous times and still getting up to fight…

      10. if he has money, he can buy clothes….Lol

      11. you can see that he was not happy with the bad guys always not getting caught…and even if caught, getting lawyers to help them….he was afraid that the four bad guys would get away too since one of them is a top lawyer…as for why he wanted to open fire on king sir…partly because king sir caused him to mistakenly shoot charmaine…and also the words of king sir….

all dramas/movies have points that are unclear or seem not convincing…if people go searching for these points…then i suggest dont watch instead

  31. I did like the part where the mob of 80 people surrounded the car and attacked Uncle Ray and Charmaine. But.. How did Charmaine’s identity get revealed that quickly LMAO? There was 1000 UC and she was part of the first batch to get exposed. Unrealistic probability wise.

    1. YEAH..& why is that conveniently broadcast over a TV on main-street? ANd while laying there in the upturned car – why weren’t they slashed?

And if Bao Seed’s identity has already been revealed – how did he managed to open a Foot Massage Centre??

      1. That’s why I say the plot is unrealistic. But Foon Hei as a UC remains a mystery.

  32. I hope someone will do a review of “Line Walker”.

      1. LOL…anything related to Raymond, you will see my friend “Andrew.”

BTW, this serie is one of the better series…Some people just love to complain…

    1. I hope there will be a review done by Miriamfanz. She is pretty fair in her reviews and shorter for most readers.

      1. Sorry ……. I meant Miriamfanz’s reivew is shorter for most readers.

  33. Been too busy and haven’t caught up with this week’s episodes yet, but noooo… I’m trying to skip some of the comments above, but the overall impression doesn’t seem to be good. Shame, it’s been quite a while since we had a series that got people excited AND talking.

    1. I think it is one of the better series since Mclub. The ending could’ve been better.

And even if there was no “perfect ending,” (BTW DIRECTOR, I wouldn’t call it perfect ending. I’ll say HAPPY ENDING), I doubt the regretful ending will be that regretful.

I know Uncle Ray and a number of artistes wanted the ending to be regretful because they wanted people to remember it.

If that’s the case, I don’t think having them ending up together would make the ending “perfect” nor regretful. Probably death is needed for a memorable ending.

      1. If that’s the case, I think whether they ended up together or not, the ending wouldn’t have been met memorable (to me at least).

There was some humor at the end and it was a good laugh but.. I don’t think it will stick in my mind for long.

ROE’s jaw-dropping ending (although not too logical) reminds in my mind though.

I think had B. seed accidentally killed Nail and then went on to kill King Sir, that ending will be truly tragic and memorable. He would’ve gone to jail and not Cheuk Sir.

  34. This is a TV series. I don’t really expect all lose end to tie in this show. I am happy that that this has a exciting storyline, good acting from most of the casts, if not all.
To me, best series in this year.

    1. I can overlook a few loopholes but the 11 points I brought up seem to much(?)

The biggest *** is why did Foon Hei act badly in the beginning of the series (he did more than just to gain the trust of the triad) and what was the tipping points for Uncle Ray and him to turn from good to bad?

    2. To me, it is the only good series in 2014, A series I can finish.

      1. It is also the only TVB series that I watched from beginning to end, and I watched it episode by episode. I agree that there are a lot of loose ends, unreasonable plots and developments. However, on the whole, “Line Walker” is very entertaining and a good series with fantastic acting. It gave me the urge to look forward to the next episode. I enjoyed it, especially the fantastic acting between Charmaine, Raymond, Benz, Michael, Elena, Sammy and even Sharon.

  35. My grade for Uncle Ray’s performance in Line Walker:

    B+

He actually received the same grade I gave to Michael Miu.

Despite the hate towards him, he did give satisfactory performance in the three mothers’ death scene. He Chok a lot this time but fortunately, it wasn’t as much as what I witnessed in Highs and Lows or in real-life.

He would’ve received a higher grade if he:

Expressed more sadness in the scene with Charmaine. He was completely overshadowed there.

Look more gangster like(?). He looked like one in the earlier parts of the series but when he started wearing a tuxedo and from what my friend say, “his own expensive clothes,” he changed his character’s image. He wanted to look better but he’s a gangster and not rich dude.
