Louis Koo and Jessica Hsuan’s “A Witness Out of the Blue” Opens October 24

One of Hong Kong’s most prolific actors, Louis Koo (古天樂) stars as a wanted fugitive in A Witness out of the Blue <犯罪現場>. Opening in theaters on October 24, the film’s cast also features Louis Cheung (張繼聰), Cherry Ngan (顏卓靈), and Jessica Hsuan (宣萱).

After a heist at a local jewelry store and the death of one of the robbers, all evidence points to Louis as the top suspect in masterminding the scheme. With a special team led by Philip Keung (姜皓文), two police officers (played by Louis Cheung and Cherry Ngan) are assigned to the case.

With just a month left until the premiere, A Witness Out of the Blue dropped a new trailer yesterday. Although the trailer doesn’t show the murderer’s actual face, Louis is seen being chased by the police and denying his involvement. In an intense race against time, Louis must find out the truth before the police do in order to clear his own name.

Released by Louis’ company One Cool Pictures, A Witness Out of the Blue is produced by Derek Yee (爾冬陞) and directed by Fung Chi Keung (馮志強).
