Louis Koo Turns to Feng Shui to Ward off Covid-19

As a strong believer of Feng Shui, Louis Koo (古天樂) often works with geomancy masters to bring him luck in his career and life. While the world is still coping with Covid-19 and its potential mutation, Louis is taking matters in his own hands and relies on Feng Shui principles to protect himself from the pandemic.

At the start of the pandemic, Louis consulted renowned Feng Shui masters and adorned the exterior of his house with eight chicken statues to bring him good health. As a good practice, Louis recently consulted his masters to align with environmental and energy changes and replaced his chicken statues with twelve golden dragons standing guard atop his balcony.

According to Feng Shui expert Master Au, the twelve dragons will boost the fire elements and will help protect the inhabitant against respiratory illness. Since the dragons are stationed outside the house, it would be effective in fighting the fifth wave of the pandemic and suppress future pandemics.

Master Au reveals that the dragons have other benefits, “In Feng Shui, dragons can attract wealth and get rid of evil-doers. The number of dragons should be one, two or nine. There is a saying that nine dragons have amazing powers. If the pandemic subsides later on, it is better that Louis reduce the statues from twelve to nine dragons. It will help Louis expand his career and take it to the next level.”

  1. I am speechless… His Feng Shui master must be raking in lots of money… I have seen the logic of some Feng Shui advice…but some are just strange..

  2. Some people believe in feng shui, some people believe in god. Whatever it is, people will need to make the right choices and do the right thing to get to where they need to be. For louis it’s more comforting to give his money away to feel safe about his choices and decisions.

  3. Whatever floats his boat, overall he’s a good man. Same time kind of surprised he’s into it but eh.

    1. i am not, many of them are. in fact, i was told that usually for chinese people, the richer they believe in feng shui.

  4. Unfortunately, feng shui is kind of like believing in fortune telling in the sense that people become obsessive about it. I’m not saying it’s hogwash, far from it actually as I use to practice it myself. But a man like Louis who has all the fame and fortune already… he needs to understand feng shui masters can only do so much. For example, he may have 12 dragons to help with his career, but he needs to continue to work hard in order to achieve the success he has now. Same with love. If he is praying for love, he needs to slow down and make time to get to know somebody. I love Louis and think he is a great man but being obsessive about feng shui or fortune telling is not healthy.

  5. It’s a good thing to have faith but good hygiene and medicine also helps.
