Mickey Huang Reaches Settlement with 10 Victims

Charged for holding 2,259 sexually explicit images involving at least 35 minors aged between 10 and 17, Taiwanese host and entertainer Mickey Huang (黃子佼) was meted an 8-month jail sentence and fined a hefty NT$100,000 in December 2024, with the case appealed to the Taiwan High Court.
During the investigations, Huang confessed and was released on NT$350,000 bail as ordered by the prosecution. On May 2nd, the High Court continued with the mediation process, with Huang reaching settlements with a total of ten victims of the case so far.
After Huang left the court, the presiding judge issued an additional bail requirement of NT$500,000 to ensure the smooth progress of the trial, imposing additional travel restrictions banning Huang from leaving Taiwan or going out to sea, thus putting Huang’s total bail at NT$850,000.
Huang’s Defense in Court During Trial

Claiming that he bought the videos as a form of stress relief, Huang said that he did not quite remember the time of each purchase, but would make one when he had free time, and download videos after paying. He revealed that he would make a NT$20,000 top-up each time though he “may not have watched them even if they were downloaded.”.
Stating that the titles of the videos on the forum were vague, Huang defended himself by saying he did not specifically target minors He also claims to not remember buying them and did not set up a special folder for minor contents, adding that the proportion of sexual images of minors on the seized hard drive was very low. However, the judge disagreed, pointing out inconsistencies in his statement and said that he had the ability to distinguish minor contents.
He is so evil!!!So many photos found…cannot imagine who not found. Awful.
Did not specifically target minors and the wife is what 20 years younger at least?? Yes, we are sure you are NOT.
